Is there restrictions on air marketing over residential property? For weeks now the Geico banner prop plane has been flying over the Kenwood neighborhood. The plane is loud and disturbing to our peaceful neighborhood. I know they are working over downtown and the beach but our mid city is suffering. It may seem unimportant but who's regulating them?

481-499 62nd Avenue Northeast Saint Petersburg, Florida - St. Petersburg
I know its owned by the PCSB but why couldn't this property be appropriated for use as a "pea-patch" or community garden/farm? There's nothing like that on the NE side of town for the public to buy in to and grow food.
  • 3840 Kingfish Dr Se St Petersburg, Florida - Coquina Key Property Owners Association
The north bridge to Coquina Key 39 Av S. Southeast corner the sidewalk is being undermined and has moved about 4 inches from the curb. This needs to be addressed before the rainy season. This is a safety hazard and could also cause damage to the roadway.
  • 727 7th Ave N st petersburg, Florida - Uptown
This house has been a problem for years. The city says no one has reported on anything yet this year, so here goes: There's ongoing criminal activity - mostly narcotics and prostitution - at this address. The police are very well aware of the situation, but perhaps other departments of the city should be as well. Numerous neighbors have received threats of violence when they have confronted some of the residents for selling drugs. Want to know more? Come to the next Historic Uptown Neighborhood Association meeting.

    5+ months of yard parking!
  • 5452 2nd Ave N St Petersburg, Florida - Live Oak Neighborhood Association
I live by the park in the Live Oak neighborhood. There is no light in the park so at night people go in there for various reasons, some drugs, some teenagers, some homeles bys, etc... We call St Petersburg Police when we notice them after dark. The dispatcher told us a couple of calls ago the park is not listed as a St Petersburg Park. Sometimes the police can't find the park. I would like to see that rectified. I would also like lights in the park to deter the teenagers and drug dealers. Many of the neighborhood folks have the same concerns I do. Some have found needles in and around the park and neighborhood. Some feel unsafe taking their children to play in the park. Teens go in during the day and are very intimidating. The park is located at the SE corner of 55th St and 2nd Ave N.
  • 5025 9th Ave N St Petersburg, FL - Disston Heights Civic Association

All along the north edge of 9th Av, westbound from 49th St after one passes the parking lot of the Walgreens, even with the oversized drainage boxes on that side of the road, the road will still flood badly enough that one cannot even see the curb placement *from the wake it throws*, in as little as a steady 1" / hour rain. This goes for at least 4-5 blocks west, and starts to taper off before one reaches 58th St.

It's much worse on the north edge than the south edge; it makes the slow lane effectively unusable there.

No image; I was too busy not going off the road -- even in a Land Rover.

  • 635 12th Avenue Northeast Saint Petersburg, FL 33701, USA - Historic Old Northeast
No court drain off for Court 2. For the past three years this has been an irritating problem that has now become exhausting and completely below the level of the Exceptional City of St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation. Main reason for the sudden worsening of the problem ....in creating the new Landscaping surrounding the courts the landscape beds were re-filled to a higher soil level than prior so that when we do spend an hour to clear the Standing waters to the edges of the court, the water no longer has a place to drain., thus remains accumulated. Needless to say our efforts are in vain. All (3) of the other courts appear to drain fine however, these courts are 100% utilized and rightfully so. Can we please offer some relief if not open dialogue to address the matter. I am positive I could easily gather 40-50 St.Petersburg Citizens/Homeowners too attend. I have included a pic of the conditions of our citizens who have invested money in their own equipment to help move water. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
