I have reported this several times. I have never received any emails or correspondence after reporting it. The water meter at my house is sinking into the ground. It is probably 6-12" below where it used to be. A sanitation worker I showed it to told me it is because we didn't pay to have the alley paved, which is ridiculous. If has broken the concrete to my driveway now. It gets worse as the garbage trucks pound over the curbs. This happens because the city stopped putting dirt down from it washing away so the curbs are now 4" higher than the alleys. This has caused serious issues. Please send someone to look at it AND contact me about this. I have uploaded a photo.

Can you ask the homeowner to trim their hedge in front of the house facing 16th street? When trying to turn south onto 16th street, you have to pull out far to see if any traffic is coming before turning. Thank you!
  • 929 52nd Ave. N Saint Petersburg, Florida - Euclid Heights Neighborhood Association

The right of way behind this property is filled with debris and trash that has attracted rats and other vermin that are invading neighboring homes on a regular basis. Past trimming in this yard has been placed there and in the right of way and has not been removed. It provides for nesting of animals. This is in violation of City Ordinance Section 27-466- unlawful accumulations of rubbish and Sec. 27-500. - Removal of garden trash and tree trimmings. Specifically:
    (d) It is unlawful for any person to place or cause to be placed any brush, trash, or tree trimmings anywhere on the property or right-of-way. Garden trash and tree trimmings that are not placed in a bulk container shall be removed by the POD and the special services charges will be billed to the owner or tenant where such illegal accumulations exist.

With this report this property is a Chronic Nuisance Property as clearly evidenced by recent multiple rubbish-click-fix and city police noise and other complaints in the last six months per Section 9-63 (a) (1) and should be put on notice and a hearing held. Police Case # 2017-035623 should be used as a determiner as well since the home has been the host of undesirable people of unacceptable social-economic levels including the individual that lost their licence under a neighbors bedroom window in a secure fenced yard while the neighbor was out of town, the 929 address providing ready access to that side of the house. Further, the individual on the license lives in public housing in Tampa where the current residents of 929 may have moved from and the license shows evidence of overheating from a lighter in a manner consistent with drug use. If the determination is that not enough evidence exists at this time the property owner should be put on notice and any future issue added to the list for holding a hearing.

This property in the past 8 years has been a disorderly house in accordance with Section 20-116. - Disorderly houses.
    (a) Any house, place of business or other structure or premises which may become so disorderly as to endanger the public peace or permit unlawful activity shall be declared to be a disorderly house and a public nuisance.
    (b) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or otherwise maintain a disorderly house.

The owner should be cited for renting out and encouraging a disorderly house that is endangering the public peace. Should a hearing be held on this property all residents within a city block should be notice so they can present testimony as to the endangerment of public peace.
