Requesting stop sign on Bay Street at the intersection of 16th Ave NE. Cars speed down Bay Street because it’s smooth and now brick streets. There are many children, pets and elderly people who walk on 16th Ave and Bay Street.
Pool contractors piled large amount of dirt in alley. Rain is washing unconfined dirt down alley into storm sewer and creating flooding at east end on 1 Street North. Also leaving dirt in alley on the way to sewer catch basin.
Duke Energy trimmed trees today in our alley. We understand this is necessary for hurricane season. The two old palms were cut back so drastically that they may not survive. Both are listing and will probably fall in a storm with high winds. Could the city remove since they are in the alley right of way?
Please have a bee expert look at this hive. This thing has grown like gangbusters since I reported it a month ago. See attached photo from today. I was very worried about the busy Halloween in the neighborhood and people's safety. If those combs fall (dangling no from underside of branch), I'm sure the bees will swarm. This seems like an unsafe situation in a crowded neighborhood. Unless we know that they aren't Africanized (and even if they aren't), this hive should be relocated.
This property has an entirely plastic-grass lawn and multiple dogs. The dogs are allowed to relieve themselves on the synthetic turf, but it is not permeable. This results in an overwhelming smell of stale urine and animal waste from the property, particularly in warm weather. This could be a potential health risk to others and to the dogs themselves.
