This property is located in the AE flood zone and was completely renovated without the proper permits (I only see a window/door permit). Clearly the kitchen, bathrooms, flooring and much ore were all renovated with the proper flood evaluation or permits). It is now listed in MLS - see attached advertisement.

  • 6700 22nd Street North - Meadowlawn Neighborhood Association
This has been reported several times with the wrong address as it is located at 6700 22nd street north, st Pete 33702. Excessive yard sales which backs up traffic all weekend and makes the neighborhood look unattractive as this person is hoarding the same items and running this as a business. Multiple neighbors complaining and thinking of moving out of the neighborhood as this issue is ongoing...
  • 1142-1150 75th Ave N Saint Petersburg, FL, 33702, USA - Meadowlawn Neighborhood Association

Once again We find the city is not maintaining its own property to the level it requires its citizens to maintain. Canal between the lake at Medowlawn park and 77th Ave has grass that does not comply with city codes that states grass may not be higher then 10". furthermore trees are allowed to grow in the canal blocking waterway that could lead to flooding..
Can someone at the Mayor's Action committee please tell me why city property is not required to be maintained to the same level as citizens of St. Petersburg? If my yard looked this bad you would be fining me $500 per day untill it was corrected. maybe the salaries of the Mayor's Action committee should be docked that amount until the issue is corrected.. It would only be fair.
Maybe Jeff the code enforcer should lose his job for not reporting this....

Please Review St. Petersburg's Yard Maintenance Standards
Brochure so it can be understood how landscaping should be maintained. http://www.stpete.org/code_enforcement/docs/YardMaintenance15.pdf

7000 Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Street North Saint Petersburg, Florida - Meadowlawn Neighborhood Association
Pedestrian crossing is very dangerous in low light. In the attached photo you can barely see the teen on the bike who is waiting for the light to change and for himself to get the walk signal from the PED. when I took the photo I had to lean forward in my vehicle as my A pillar blocked him from my view. as for the truck in front of me he would have had to look 90degs to his left to see the teen on the bike.
I would be very easy to make the crossing a Protected PED. This would stop all traffic lanes while giving the "WALK" signal to the PED allowing Pedestrians to safely cross the street without vehicles trying to turn left on to MLK. After the PED clears then the standard ring can continue as normal.
Doing this will make a dangerous PED crossing safe since the pole on the corner hides pedestrians for cars turning on to 70th and from cars turning left onto MLK. Even though the intersection is small the simplest Signal controller should be able to handle adding a Protected PED phase.
So this could be done with little cost and may even save a life.

More often than not, multiple boats are parked on the yard or in the driveway. Looks like a boatyard, not a residence.
