my back alley was repaved two years ago, and although workers assured us it would drain, it does not. it can flood enough to float the trash barrel down alley, short out my electric gate and be the perfect breading ground for mosquitos. There is also extensive flooding on the corner of Cherry and 43rd Ave NE. That corner does not drain to the storm drains and leaves a lot of standing water. I have put in complaints on both of these concerns, but have not got any responses. I am now trying this method

2 weeks ago I asked for yard waste to be picked up as well as furniture.
It took so long for sanitation to come out we cut it up and filled a dumpster because it was partially blocking alley. It's been gone for a week. Of course it was done in 2 weeks.

Should I put in a report for every single address that has something behind it.

The cabinets in picture have been there for 3 weeks. The pallets for 2 weeks.

Why does it take 2 to 3 weeks to get things addressed not fixed.

I just moved in from Old NE. One click worked in 2 days max. Here its closed before anything is done.

    Drive the entire alley....

The alley absolutely needed some work, especially at the entrance to 1st St. - so for that I am grateful but the Alley seems to have been bladed and the black dirt used makes a mess for anyone walking themselves or animals down the alley. The cars are a mess from the damp mornings after the dirt is blown through the alley. Can it be topped with crushed gravel ? - the homeowners are constantly fixes holes due to the trash and recycle trucks.

Dollar General store has constant trash on the floor. They do not lock their garbage container nor do they lock the garbage gate. This results in people constantly rummaging through the trash, including at night which is very noisy and very concerning from a safety perspective. I've tried contacting the Dollar General corporation to no avail. They need to lock their garbage container gate anytime they are not emptying the trash, otherwise this situation will go on and get worse over time. All day long I see people looking through the trash, this is not very comforting as a citizen and resident of the area.
