Hello, The recycling truck ran into one and completely ran over another of the palm trees planted in the back of 235 19th Avenue SE. I planted the trees to prevent people from driving close to the house and the gas meter.
House is a dilapidated eye sore. The chimney has fallen on our garage roof in the past so it’s close. Grass in the tree lawn is not maintained, garbage in back yard near alley, yard overgrown, homeless people squating and attracted to the abandoned property. This is a residential neighborhood with lots of children and families.
Resident believes the trees in the ROW at her address may be declining as they are regularly dropping large branches - would like someone to inspect and let her know who is responsible for maintenance if the trees are dead/dying.
Every week on Tues or Wed, a group of men in a truck are dumping misc items in the trash and recycle bins and now furniture is left also. They do not live on the street or in the neighborhood. They are using this instead of taking items to the proper city locations. Also, there are too many trash bins located at this address (for just three residences).
