Single-family one-unit home (862 sq ft according to Pinellas County Appraiser) is being used as a multi-family rental unit. Property Appraiser web site indicates this is a one-unit home but multiple residents using two side entrances and main front entrance on a daily basis for about the last 2-3 months. Google Map's aerial view shows separated (fenced) open-air porches/entrances on both sides of house. Previous owner appears to have moved out months ago and now various tenant cars parked at home. Tax Collector's web site shows home-stead tax exemption still claimed even though now used as multi-family rental property.
This used to be a gas station with a convenience store and auto repair shop. It is now a Mexican restaurant and grocery. It no longer has any working gas pump or auto repair. This is a change is use and requires the appropriate site plan for a restaurant and grocery. There is outdoor storage of a trailer and a food truck on the lawn. There are also tables and chairs outside. Not sure what the large plastic horses are for at the entrance.
A crepe myrtle tree has been blown over and is located in a small traffic island near the intersection of 28th St N and 24th Ave N (east side of the intersection). I tried to prop it up several times but it keeps blowing over. Thank you.
Resident at 2835 24th Ave N continues to leave in-door furniture (chest of drawers, etc.) outdoors in their front yard & it has now been over 2 weeks. This is not by the curb for pick up, just storing junk outdoors for unknown reason.
Address is 2518 & 2520- 28 St North. Its a double duplex property. Instead of parking in the lot, these renters park all over the yard. Place has been reported numerous time.s to codes Makes the neighborhood look like a slum area. Its time for codes to address this problem.
