Pothole near 3400 Overlook Dr NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33703 just to the east of the bridge before St Raphael's Church. There is a rather large irregular shaped pothole on the right side of the lane on the westbound approach to said bridge that is treacherous to bicycling. If cyclist is avoiding road debris on the shoulder/bike lane the pothole is seen unexpectedly. Also, the roadway begins to narrow there so the cyclist needs to pay attention & merge with traffic.
For the past several days there has been excessive flooding during high tide on the east side of Overlook Drive where it intersects with Arizona (zip code 33703), as well as in the usual places along Connecticut. This occurs even on days when there hasn't been a heavy rain, as well as days with rain. I am beginning to suspect there is a blockage in the storm drain system that is causing the water to build up in this area. The next time it happens I will upload a photo.
Over the last 2 years, as the neighbor of 4801 Shore Acres Blvd NE, I have watched the house being rented out nightly or weekly constantly. The residence is being run as an AirBnB or residential hotel and the renters are creating noise disturbances at night. I have personally witnessed over 25 different groups of people rent out the residence for a night, or a short term weekly rental.
The foreclosed house at 5810 Denver St is flooded all around, including the sidewalk. This is flooding the left side of my house!!!
This property is dangerous as the roof is collapsing, weeds are overgrown, junk is everywhere, garbage stinks in the driveway, and the green pool has fish and frogs. Please, asap, get this property drained and cleaned up. The gates are open and this place is dangerous!!!! Please do something immediately!
Being a flooding is an ongoing issue in shore acres that doesn't seem to have an easy fix. I think it would help if the city could put out depth markers by street signs or by painting the poles on the street signs so drivers would know if intersections with standing water are safe to pass. I think this would help a lot of people get home safer.
