Sunset Drive South was recently milled and repaved. After the repaving, every time it rains there is a large amount of standing that completely blocks access to sidewalk at 310 Sunset Dr. S. and remains for multiple days thereafter. Given the recent health threats from mosquitoes and the inconvenience and safety issues posed, this needs to be addressed and repaired immediately.
I was told by a lady in Permits Department several months ago that this residence cannot add any more buildings to his backyard, He has exceeded his limit. She told me to report if I see anything else brought in at this resident's home. This weekend another shed was brought in the backyard.
Between rocks on side of road there is an old concrete post with rebar embedded into it. Most of the concrete has broken away and about 2-3 feet of bare, rusty rebar is sticking up. It would be a severe safety hazard to pedestrians and cyclists should they fall on the rebar.
The dotted lines on the street heading North on Park street are not curved with the flow of traffic, and cars taking a left turn go into the left through lane causing traffic hazards, lines should be switched back to the former curved lines, just sit at the intersection for 20 minutes and you can see the issue.
This residence continues to illegally dump yard waste in the shared trash bin in the alley week after week. Numerous calls have been made to the Sanitation Department over the course of several weeks by different residences requesting a resolution but the yard waste dumping continues. The trash bin is full of yard waste today. This prevents the other residences from utilizing the trash bin as it is always full of yard waste. Please resolve this issue.
This is in referefernce to closed case# 5574018 reported on 3.22.2019. Again, this residence has dumped yard waste in the trash receptacle located in the alley today. The Sanitation Department conducted a drive-by and indicated the alley was clear after the Sanitation Department already picked up the trash on Monday. Trash pick-up occurs each Monday and Thursday in this area. The resident waits until after trash pick up on Thursdays and dumps the yard waste afterwards. If you can send an inspector today or Friday, you will see the trash receptacle is once again full of yard waste. Please notify this resident of illegal dumping so the neighbors can utilize the trash receptacle. Thanking you in advance for your assistance.
