The post office on 25th Street is falling apart. It is a dirty facility and really needs some fixing up and ongoing maintenance. I tried calling the post mistress T. Pettiford but none of my calls were answered.
A business trailer has been parked directly outside the home for over a month, never moved. Owner lives on street and refuses to move it. It is very rude to park something so large and utilized for a business directly in front of the two windows I can look out on the street to.
Hey city of Richmond for the love of god please remove the white Buick that has been parked on the street impeding traffic for OVER 2 years. No tags expired registration. It's an eye sore and should have been towed numerous times for blocking street cleaning and leaf pick up.
Due to parked cars and trees, it is difficult for cars on E Clay St to safely enter the intersection with N 25th St. I have witnessed numerous near-accidents/honked horns here. Maybe another round about or another traffic controlling device would be appropriate here.
AGAIN, the parks maintenance people have LOCKED this trashcan to the inside of the fence and have not emptied it for weeks. Once again, it is overflowing. We were pushing it to the street each week to have it emptied, but in their wisdom the P&R guys decided to lock it so we couldn't do that. They have stopped emptying any trash in that park, solved on the other end by removing the trash cans so that people just put wrappers etc. on the ground.
Vacant house has had pile up of.junk in alley since December 2015. There are other areas with in this alley way that has furniture and other items that need to be picked up. I've called several time with no action being taken. Report numbers2290252 and most recent #2376053
The alley beside 409 N 31st ST is full of large potholes and needs to be graded and graveled. Whenever it rains, large puddles accumulate and water stands for several days. The picture below shows the problem. These were taken several days after a rain.
3113 E. Broad Street continues top be a neighborhood nuisance. It was recently reported that there was construction and tree debris in the yard of 3113 E. Broad Street. City of Richmond brought this to the attention of the owner. The owners solution was to move this material from the yard into the alley behind 3111 and 3113 E. Broad Street. The city trash collection will not pick this material up as it is not in a supercan. (see attached picture)
