1298 Miller Avenue Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor
This crosswalk (across Miller between Pomona and Wesley) lacks pedestrian crossing signs. It is the only crosswalk on Miller between Maple and Main Street that lacks the signs. Also, the crosswalk is on a hill, so the signs will make it more visible in both directions.
There has been an ongoing problem with a smell (stench!) of sewage emanating from Arborview Blvd, between Maple Ridge and Linda Vista. I called several months ago and was told it would be temporary although it has lasted for certainly more than a year. It is a problem for all my neighbors and makes it very unpleasant to walk in the area. The smell is very strong and noxious and seeps into houses. Neighbors report having been told various explanations but the fact is that it's unacceptable. Is this problem being worked on? Is anyone paying attention to this? Is there someone to whom we should address our concerns?

This bike lane needs to be repaved *before* the street is repaved as the auto lanes of the street are in great shape. Please add this on a project to-do list and don't give it to the pothole guys, they tell me it's fine.
The crosswalk across Stadium to get to Pioneer HS is on one of the busiest streets in town and sees near misses with our kids every day. These kids deserve a flashing light like there are on Plymouth Rd. to help them cross, especially as the days get shorter. Please take this seriously before something tragic happens.
I can't tell you how many near accidents I have witnessed as people (often young children) attempt to cross the street going across State at Granger. Cars on State are not stopping. This is especially an issue when their is a field hockey match or any other U of M sport. There needs to be a traffic light or a stop sign or at least a sign that has drivers stopping for pedestrians and bicyclists. Steven M Stein MD 248-302-0649 firstname.lastname@example.org

This issue is everywhere so I chose an arbitrary address. The Ann Arbor dot Com uses throwaway newspaper to try and gather new customers. I am told throwing advertising on our property is legal. I do not believe it is. However, these wind up blocking the storm drains and they turn property owners into default workers for this rag and they litter up everyone's lawn and driveway. I think the city of Ann Arbor should consider making it a public issue, seeking comment from citizens (do vote here ! ) and then informing the 'newspaper' that they will have to have people OPT - IN (not out) to allow this on their property. I have called the advertising rag at least six times and they won't stop this practice. Let's change this. We have the right to insist they stop.

If you drive or walk along Arborview between Wesley Ave and Maple Ridge, you will smell a very strong odor of sewage in this area. This has been ongoing over the last several months and it is fairly consistent.
This yard is full of garbage as you can see in the attached picture. Somebody doesn't seem to know how to get it into the large dumpster that was emptied leaving all the garbage on the ground. Animals are foraging. This is a constant problem with this house. Why isn't somebody ticketed or arrested? This property has been reported as recently as last week.
At the present crosswalk on Huron Parkway, by the entrance to Huron Highschool, the lighting is very dim. Adding to that, cars move very quickly down this street. Students riding the City bus (a large portion due to cuts in bussing), can barely be seen when crossing, once the dark fall and winter hours settle in, unless they are in a huge gaggle with their peers. I would suggest that this is a place for one of those blinking crosswalk signs before a student is seriously injured.
