I am reporting this on behalf of the nieghborhood, see thread here
https://nextdoor.com/news_feed/?post=89375764 There have been a series of incidents where the same two pit bulls are at large and bite both people and other animals. Numerous complaints, more than three bites, and no action by the city. The neighbors do not feel safe walking on this street. This is located near a dog park (Crescent Lake) so many dogs walk through the neighborhood.
The trees are overgrown into the alley between the house and the carwash. Was initially reported 7/10, AKR closed the case saying the trees would not touch vehicles. When driving my truck/boat through, I have approximately 2-4" of clearance between the trees and the power pole. This issue has been reported a number of times over the years as the property is rental and the owner will not take care of the issue without intervention. The last time after reporting it, it took so long to be trimmed that I could not drive down the alley at all. Please reevaluate this issue.
The edging stone at the curb is protruding into the street, which is extremely narrow because people park on both sides. It needs to be aligned so it doesn't stick out into the street, as multiple cars cannot park at the curb because of it. Thank you.
We would love to participate in recycling, however you pick up our trash bin in the allley and recycling in the front of the house. My section of street has no access from the alley to the front of our houses. We would literally have to walk our recycling containers a block to get picked up. Hence, nobody on my stretch of street is using thier recycle bins, they are in the alley, full and sitting. Can your program make an exception for our street? We are considered an exception for code violations and other such activities since we are Woodlawn.
