The newly paved golf cart path is a dangerous speedway. I live at the edge of the path, and cart drivers do not slow down for oncoming traffic. Potential life threatening conditions by their actions to pedestrians, autos on the streets, animals, and of course, themselves. The path needs "silent policemen" to slow down the speeds.
This is my second attempt to report, and find a finalized response to this issue. Speeding golf carts on this newly widened path are a hazard to vehicles on Coventry Close, both moving and stationary. Cul de sac residents have very little visibility to carts on the path. I had reported this before with no satisfaction to a finalized plan of action. It is not feasible to catch a speeding cart, or report it. I am writing again of my concern and state that I will not be responsible for any personal or property damage resulting in any collisions on my property or due to unobservant, speeding carts. The association had mentioned turning this issue over to the signage department. Have heard nothing. I will take matters into my own hands to mitigate any possible problems, and potential injury/damage to my family and my property.
Bartram Road South Between Landings Way North And Landings Way North Savannah, Georgia - Landings Association
Several years ago I requested a sidewalk be installed on Bartram between TLCo at Landings Way North and the other end at Landings Way North and was informed it wasn't possible for a variety of utility reasons. I have stopped walking along that section of Bartram as there is just too much traffic on the road coming at me. Even at 30 MPH a big pickup or SUV coming at you is scary. Time has passed and things have changed. I ask that my request be reconsidered as this section of Bartram is really the only main road in the Landings that doesn't have a sidewalk now that I am aware of. Please make this a priority for 2019 if not sooner.
oak tree is rotted at the base and above limbs are slowly cracking and breaking. I believe the tree is dead or dying. it's on common ground off the first tee, it's in the backyard area facing tennis courts with yellow tape around it on the Marshwood golf course. Please have someone to check it out.
