In front of my home, there is a storm drain. The land that is above the drain is giving away. There is a hole that I have fallen into while mowing my lawn. Since then, someone has placed a barricade over the hole. This indicates that someone has noticed it, however, the barricade has been there for quite a while. Could someone please tell me what is happening in front of my home?
Sunday evening we were hanging holiday lights, we were fine all day, just an occasional mosquito here and there. As the sun started to set, a cloud of mosquitos attacked us. I alone have close to 50 bites, my daughter and sister were bit badly too. They came in us so quickly we even left a box of lights on the roof as we quickly packed up and ran inside. We are on Taylor Lake. In the age of nasty mosquito spread illnesses, I'd like to know if some measure of protection or prevention is in place for the residents surrounding the lakes.
The turn signal going north on 66th to turn left onto 126th street doesn't turn green for a long time. Instead of the light letting both sides turn first before major traffic doesn't occur. People driving south on 66th past 126th get a green arrow to turn but the opposite isn't so. You have to sit so long to turn left that the light from 118th ave can still keep going before we even get to turn left. This is causing people to be late for work when in a hurry because turning left takes so so so so long. Can you please fix it to allow both ways to turn first before major traffic can go straight? This is how it works at any other intersection but not this one.
There is illegal dumping occurring at the end of 130th Ave where the PC Trail meets 130th Ave. The entire sidewalk is blocked. The dumping includes landscaping waste, such as tree branches, bagged leaves, palm fronds, etc. It looks like someone drove up and unloaded a dump truck. It only costs $10 to go to the landfill! Absolute laziness and very unprofessional. Please clean it up so we can access the trail again. Thank you.
