Owners and Residents on Park Road

Notified About

  • Rat Abatement Archived
1414 Oak Street Northwest Washington, DC 20010, USA - Columbia Heights
There is a large rat population in the alley between the 1400 blocks of Oak and Meridian streets. They have created burrows or piles in our back yard area and I believe under our neighbor's back porch at 1412. Anything that can be done will help
  • 1339-1399 Girard Street Northwest Washington, DC 20009, USA - Columbia Heights
According to city records, this is a public alley. It is fenced off and is filled with weeds, rats, and overgrowth. It has become someone's personal compost pile and the source a significant smell and eye sore
  • 2750 14th St Nw Washington D.C., DC 20009, USA - Columbia Heights
Graffiti removal needed on Retaining wall on NW corner of Fairmont and 14th Streets NW.
  • 1133-1299 Irving St Nw Washington D.C., DC 20010, USA - Columbia Heights
Graffiti on school speed/zone sign. SE corner of 13th & Irving Streets NW.
  • 1375 Kenyon St Nw Washington, DC - Columbia Heights
Between 4-6 homeless and drunk men have recently taken up residence in the fountain circle across from Tivoli. Children play all the time there, and the drunks have started to harass both children and adults. Some of them have taken to going half naked, and lying down in the fountain or grass where the children play. The guys swear alot, urinate in public and make a general nuisance of themselves.
Is there anything that can be done.
  • Park Rd Nw @ 14th St Nw Washington D.C., DC 20010, USA - Columbia Heights
There is almost universal jaywalking because the pedestrian signals are completely mis-timed at every side of this intersection, resulting in "no walk" signals for long periods of time during which it's safe to walk because the cross-traffic has a red light. After months of being trained not to trust the lights, many people no longer check them at all.
  • 2419-2499 14th Street Northwest Washington, District of Columbia - Columbia Heights
The bike lanes on 14th St NW have been gradually extended from downtown up to north of Columbia Heights, but there is no bike lane on 14th St between Florida Ave NW and Columbia Rd NW. It just inexplicably disappears for about 0.5 miles, and it happens to be on the scariest part of 14th St (at least for cyclists). Cars go up and down that hill at very high speed. The northbound cyclists climb the steep hill at walking speed while cars pass close by on the left at 30+ mph. Cutting over to 11th St (which has a bike lane for this stretch the hill) is not a good solution, and many cyclists aren't aware that 11th St has a lane. Please connect the lanes on 14th between FL Ave and Columbia Rd.
  • 2750 14th St Nw Washington D.C., DC 20009, USA - Columbia Heights
Graffiti removal needed on Retaining wall on NW corner of Fairmont and 14th Streets NW.
  • 14th And Newton Street Nw Washington D.C., DC - Columbia Heights
A traffic light was put in at 14th and Newton Street NW. Now traffic is always backed up traveling North. The light is red and there is no cross traffic. Why not just put in a stop sign, it would have been more efficient.
  • 3447 14th St Nw Washington, DC 20010, USA - Columbia Heights
Vacant blighted building at 3447-49 14th St NW
  • 3012 Georgia Ave Nw Washington, DC 20010, USA - Columbia Heights
The part of the fence where Bruce Monroe Park meets the alley of the 700 blk of Irving St. has been cut open to allow people to cross back and forth. This needs repaired ASAP Local teens selling/doing drugs have been seen using this access point after hours. Also, the teens who drink and smoke along that fence use the access point to escape to the alley when cops show up.
  • 3149 16th St Nw Washington, DC 20010, USA - Columbia Heights
There is a tent set up at a public playground. 16th and Pine St. NW at Sacred Heart Way. Many children use this park and it seems out of place. The tent was here last week for two days that I observed and then I no longer saw it. But it is back again. Although I don't see any occupant at the moment....I did last week. Kids have wondered what this tent is doing here and that it doesn't belong.
