Ne Hidden Cove Rd & Silven Ave Ne Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island

The stretch of Hidden Cove Rd. road from the intersection with Henderson Rd down to the large group of mailboxes near 6336 Hidden Cove Rd is in a state EXTREME deterioration. This has been a problem for several YEARS now and the city has done nothing more than very tiny patches to 2-3 potholes. This minor attempt to fix the issue is NOT working. We have made request after request for the entire road to be repaired properly (re-paved) and nothing is being done. The construction of 3 new houses on this road has just intensified the deterioration over the last year. Please....our cars should not have to endure this terrible road any longer!

When re-paving is done, the asphalt should be extended beyond it's current edge at the mailboxes. This corner is currently (and every single year) a huge issue with pot-holes in the gravel making entry for residents, mail trucks, delivery trucks, and garbage services increasingly difficult this time of year. Please fill these potholes and then properly pave this corner as shown in the attached sketch.

6336 now has four sheds and two large white utility tents, all added since summer 2017 with no permits. Is there a limit to number of sheds allowed?
They have at least 11 chickens,1 turkey and four guinea foul. Is there a limit?
I have seen rodents go into their chicken yard probably attracted by the stink of the food put out for the hens.
The hens continue to leave 6336 property and to trespass on neighbors’ properties, damaging gardens and digging in the driveways.
One shed might be constructed over the drainfield.
  • Along Spargur Loop Bainbridge Island, Washington - Bainbridge Island
Please trim back hedges and shrubs along Spargur Loop so two cars can safely drive the road. The hedges are creating a line of sight and safety issues.

6820-6898 Ne Seabold Rd Bainbridge Island, WA 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
There is a speed enforcement issue on NE Seabold Rd, leading to Henderson. Commuters avoiding 305, driving through neighborhood and disregarding residential speed limit, thereby posing a safety hazard to walkers on road and small children waiting for bus stop. An increased police presence would help to alleviate problem between hours 7am-9am on weekdays.

As The pavement on Hidden Cove Rd ends and the gravel road begins that goes down to the public road end and also North on the easement, there are multiple large potholes in the gravel. So big cars are now almost in the ditch or people’s planting to avoid them. Not a good for residents cars, mail carriers, and especially the garbage trucks.
