  • 46 Mansfield Street New Haven, Connecticut - Dixwell
Sort of tire of months of trash and recycling thrown around the yard. And there are actually people living there, who are too lazy to do anything.
  • Compton Dtreet New Haven, Connecticut - Dixwell
We were not swept yet again
    Drains are completely trashef

8 Winchester Ave New Haven 06511, United States - Dixwell
This beautiful, brand-new crosswalk sign has started to lean as a result of substantial erosion at its base. Probably should be placed in a concrete frame like the same sign opposite the street was.
  • 46 Mansfield Street New Haven, Ct - Dixwell
The city needs to start fining building owners when their tenants dump their refuse on the sidewalk two weeks and counting with this mess at 46 Mansfield. We see very little enforcement from the city.
  • 23 Compton Street New Haven, Connecticut - Dixwell
Every day most of the cars parked on Compton street are not Zone 7 residents. They either have no stickers, or last year's visitor tags.
There are only parking signs on one half of the length of this street, so some people might think they can park there. We need signs down to the Winchester. People always park right up to the corner, so it's hard to make the turn onto Winchester
  • 182 Mansfield Street New Haven, Connecticut - Dixwell
These hedges make it hard to walk down the sidewalk without getting hit in the face.
  • 46 Mansfield Street New Haven, Connecticut - Dixwell
This house is always dumping their trash onto the curb. The majority of the trash is not in bins and is not in closed bags. Garbage spills out onto the sidewalk and blows into neighbors yards. This is an ongoing problem.
  • 56 Mansfield Street New Haven, Connecticut - Dixwell
The owner of 56 Mansfield blew all the leaves from his yard into and across the street. As you can see, he didn't pick or bag a single leaf. He did this last year too, and will continue doing it unless he is fined. It's quite rude to other residents.
  • 157 Winchester Street New Haven, Connecticut - Dixwell
Blight, blight, blight. The lot in back of the liquor store is never kept clean. The owners just walk through the litter week after week, but never pick it up. Construction debris has been piled up for more than a year, weeds are never removed, and discarded food scraps (a whole loaf of bread????) are scattered around on the ground. This is an ongoing problem for years. Why is the city powerless to make people keep their property clean?
  • 1-3 Webster Street New Haven, Connecticut - Dixwell
Across form the parking lot entrance from this ignorant condo association they have been plowing all the snow from the 20 car lot into the street and blocking the sidewalk and occluding the street. I have reported on this site and called public works annually for years and no one does anything. The behavior continues.
The Public Space Inspector will not return phone calls and has never acknowledged this issue. I can only assume SOMEONE KNOWS SOMEONE and that is how they get away with it year after year.
One year the road was down to one lane for months. You have to be deaf dumb and blind to not see this. There is still a piles of snow 2' into the street from the last storm. Calls to local Alders also go unanswered.
Who's the VIP who lives there ???
  • Webster Street New Haven, Connecticut - Monterey Place
There are multiple raised manhole covers that have been surrounded with asphalt making huge bumps in the road all along Webster st.
I wonder how the plows are going to be able to even clear the streets or how much damage this will cause to equipment because of the massive unevenness.
    Same on St Ronan Street.
    What were they thinking ???
  • 136 Mansfield St New Haven, CT 06511, USA - Dixwell
3 days ago the street sweeper truck broke down, spilling some kind of lubricant in the street and in the grass strip. they lay down some dirt, but is has still not been cleaned. Today it will rain and wash into the storm drain and into the Sound. This needs to be cleaned up properly, and the contaminated soil on the grass strip should be removed. This is an environmental hazard and the state REP should have gotten a report.
