Notified About

  • Norton Pkwy New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - New Haven Police District 10
Multiple cracks and missing pavement. It's really hazardous.
  • 75 Hubinger St New Haven, CT 06511, USA - Edgewood
Per usual this house is an issue. Fighting outside, breaking liquor bottles on the sidewalk, and a total nuisance in a decent neighborhood otherwise. Please patrol this house and investigate anything possible. Not an emergency so I did not call 911.
  • 583 Edgewood Ave New Haven, CT 06511, USA - Edgewood
big pile of bags and rugs.
  • 440 Norton St New Haven, CT 06511, USA - Beaver Hills
Is this house abandoned? The front roof has caved in allowing entry to all weather and wildlife.
  • 232 Ellsworth Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Edgewood
I am in my 6th year at 232 Ellsworth Ave. Recently, I called the building manager, saying that there were recent disruptions at all hours had changed the buildings from the family atmosphere to a dangerous one. She said Pike cannot control tenants. Over the past weekend, it was necessary to call the police, which did not end the threatening behavior of the tenant, including att4empted assault. I texted the manager in detail of this, but received no reply.
  • 1475-1485 Ella T Grasso Blvd New Haven, CT 06511, USA - Beaver Hills
Mayhem going south on Ella t. Grasso crossing Whalley. Cars and pedestrians disobey the signal. Witnessed 3 cars blow threw a ref light and a man jaywalk diagonally. Please police this intersection before lives are lost.
  • Jewel St And Blake St. New Haven, Connecticut - Beaver Hills
People are still parking in the NO PARKING area across from Beecher School on Jewel St. I have reported this many times and have talked to Doug Hausladen and Richard Furlow but nothing changes. I know the school buses will someday be re-routed to the back of the school but who knows when. AND, that will not prevent people from parking in the NO PARKING area across from the school. At least put orange cones there if you won't put a permanent barrier, such as a curbstone, there. On occasion, there is a parking officer there to give out tickets but not often enough. When the school buses are on Jewel St. and cones are put in front of the school to make the buses' territory there is only room for one car to travel on the street due to the errant parking cars. Why won't this be taken care of?
  • Bellevue Rd New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Beaver Hills

For the past week people have been setting of firecrackers ever evening starting around 9pm. I am concerned about fire safety as vegetation begins to dry out over the summer. Also the noise is disruptive.

I do not know were they are being set off but it seems to be in the Beaver Hills Neighborhood.

  • Ellsworth Ave & Maple St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Edgewood
There are only 2 stop signs at a 4-way intersection at Ellsworth and Maple Street. Frequently cars speed on Ellsworth and collide with cars turning from Maple. This recent crash totaled 3 cars and could be avoided with stop signs or speed bumps to slow speeding cars.
  • 143 Bellevue Rd New Haven, Connecticut - Beaver Hills
There is a feral cat eating a squirrel in my yard. This has been an ongoing issue with the cats living in the abandoned garage next door. A few of the kittens were apparently removed, but the adult cats are still living there. This needs to be taken care of-the number of cats continues to increase.
  • 45 Glen Rd New Haven, CT 06511, USA - Beaver Hills
we often see unknown cars pull up on our block, and we're pretty sure there are drug sales going on.
  • 66 Crescent Street New Haven Connecticut - Dixwell
Despite the placement of no parking signs on Crescent St. near driveways across from Hillhouse High, cars neglectfully block driveways when they come to the school for weekend and evening sporting competitions at a very high frequency. I have never seen any parking enforcement in my 7 + years here and, as such, us residents with these driveways have been forced to wait out these illegally parked vehicles to use our driveways. It appears that the bike paths, while great, make the appearance of a parking spots in front of driveways (despite the signage stating otherwise). I think to curb this consistent neighborhood nuisance, the City should paint diagonal perpendicular lines on Crescent from the sidewalk lip in front of each driveway to the bike path and also perform parking enforcement during school events.
