New stop signs were put in at the corner of Pendleton Street and Elm Street. It is now a three-way stop. But on Elm Street there are no lines on the street or the word stop on the street so people keep driving through the new stop signs.
Driving southeast on Whalley, the lanes shift at the light just before West Rock Ave. There are no markings on the pavement for guidance, so cars in the middle lane often shift to the left lane. I've been forced into oncoming traffic multiple times. Painting the lanes in the intersection would be extremely helpful.
64 Hubinger Street New Haven, Connecticut - Edgewood
There is often a group of men gathered with bikes on sidewalk (bikes parked on sidewalk =illlegal?) and active drug deals from only this house on Hubinger street! i think the house number is 75. please monitor this house, police!
58 Pendleton Street New Haven, Connecticut - Edgewood
It seems there is some dead in the recycling bin at 58 Pendleton, plus some illegal leaf bags stuffed in the bin. Recycling came today, but did not empty that bin, perhaps for these reasons. They did say it was really heavy. It is sending a strong smell of death all down the block (and this at least the second day). Not sure what to do, but it needs attention of some kind. Whatever is in there needs to be disposed of safely.
Ella Grasso Blvd And Goffe New Haven, Connecticut - Beaver Hills
Litter is constantly being tossed from cars at this intersection. I was wondering if the neighborhood alderman would try to get some anti-litter signs near this corner and along ella t grasso blvd. to whalley ave. For example, "Keep Beaver Hills Beautiful. Don't Litter". The amount of people I see tossing garbage out of their windows is disgusting. Maybe a sign is the first step to neighborhood awareness.
When is something going to be done about the superhighway that we call Ellsworth Ave? I've complained about this before. It's extremely dangerous to enter from a lane. I'm ready to move, and so are some others, if nothing is done.
