There have been three more accidents at this intersection since I originally posted this in March of 2017. My grave concern for the intersection of Ella Grasso Blvd and Glen Rd. It is a two way stop on Glen Road only. Speeding is a well documented problem down Ella Grasso Blvd. Speed, coupled with an intersection that LOOKS like it’s a four way stop and ISN’T means it’s a danger to all. Last September of 2016 our truck parked in front of our house was totaled by a speeding car. In March of 2017 my husband was in a serious car accident turning into our own driveway. There’s an accident or tire-screeching, horn-honking altercation in that intersection once a week—an intersection where our children wait for the bus. IT NEEDS ANOTHER SET OF STOP SIGNS to make it a four way stop. (or a traffic light, but I imagine it’s cheaper to just put up signs.) Please help.
Jewel St And Blake St. New Haven, Connecticut - Beaver Hills
People are still parking in the NO PARKING area across from Beecher School on Jewel St. I have reported this many times and have talked to Doug Hausladen and Richard Furlow but nothing changes. I know the school buses will someday be re-routed to the back of the school but who knows when. AND, that will not prevent people from parking in the NO PARKING area across from the school. At least put orange cones there if you won't put a permanent barrier, such as a curbstone, there. On occasion, there is a parking officer there to give out tickets but not often enough. When the school buses are on Jewel St. and cones are put in front of the school to make the buses' territory there is only room for one car to travel on the street due to the errant parking cars. Why won't this be taken care of?
232 Ellsworth Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Edgewood
I am in my 6th year at 232 Ellsworth Ave. Recently, I called the building manager, saying that there were recent disruptions at all hours had changed the buildings from the family atmosphere to a dangerous one. She said Pike cannot control tenants. Over the past weekend, it was necessary to call the police, which did not end the threatening behavior of the tenant, including att4empted assault. I texted the manager in detail of this, but received no reply.
366 Winthrop Ave New Haven 06511, United States - Edgewood
Yet another terrible accident at Winthrop and Maple last night! Not sure if anybody was hurt but this is a frequent occurrence. When will the city put up blinkers to mark these dangerous intersections?
Ella T Grasso Blvd & Goffe Ter New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Beaver Hills
Furniture on the tree line South West corner of Ella T. Grasso where it meets Goffe Terrace. There is also a sale being conducted at that location on every weekend.. It's a business not a one off tag sale.
Carmel st between Goffe and Percival st has become a sppeedway. Cars speed up and down the street with kids playing nearby. Dirt bikes race each other down the street. There is no cocern or care for the lives of the people who live in the neighborhood. It's a recipe for a pending disaster. Not if, but when. I suggest and highly recommend that if all possible, speed bumps should be placed on Carmel st to prevent a tragedy from happening.
1–21 Diamond St New Haven 06515, United States - Beaver Hills

Ellsworth Ave & Maple St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Edgewood
There are only 2 stop signs at a 4-way intersection at Ellsworth and Maple Street. Frequently cars speed on Ellsworth and collide with cars turning from Maple. This recent crash totaled 3 cars and could be avoided with stop signs or speed bumps to slow speeding cars.
