1424-1426 Sherman Street Alameda, California - Alameda
The homeowners at 1426 Sherman Street are parking their vehicle taking up 2 parking spots on purpose. They are moving this weekend and trying to save the spot out in front of their residence for a moving truck. Yesterday all day they parked a Grey Nissan Pickup truck there, and this morning they swapped it out with their black SUV in the picture. Our neighbors are upset at how disrespectful they are. Look at the picture. Please have an officer drive by and tell them to stop taking up 2 spaces. If they want they can apply with the City for a Parking Permit for their move.

  • 901 Marina Village Pkwy Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Lots of unlawful homeless activity in this area; homeless frequently seen hanging around the shopping center, rolling around on what appear to be stolen bikes, often towing stolen shopping carts from various stores in this area (usually the Lucky's), digging through the bins for recyclables, stealing vehicles from the various office parking lots in this area and openly using drugs and alcohol in public in broad daylight. Just saw one of them rolling around the shopping center on a stolen bike with an open container of beer. These homeless sometimes abuse hard drugs, harass shoppers as they're trying to go in and out of businesses at this location, and frequently overdose causing frequent visits from Alameda Paramedics/Fire Department. This has been reported for years by countless individuals who are tired of seeing this area plagued by homeless drug addicts and alcoholics who break multiple laws, harass people, and steal property regularly in this area. We are tired of APD ignoring this problem. Clean this area up now.
  • Constitution Before Posey Tube Alameda, California - Alameda
In the center divide just before entering the Posey tube on Constitution Way are two homeless encampments that have been growing now for several months. Time and again the people who are living in these encampments cross the two very busy streets in on coming traffic, often with items they have collected for their encampments, and creating a the very real possibility of an accident waiting to happen.
  • Webster St & Stargell Ave Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Vehicles come speeding out of the tube and continue at same high speed blowing past the (red) light at Webster/Stargell. Only a question of time before somebody is seriously hurt. Can APD install traffic cameras at this intersection? It is getting out of hand.
  • 2241 Ca-260 Alameda, CA 94501, USA - Alameda
Encampment and garbage has returned to this location.
  • 2300 Encinal Ave alameda, California - Alameda

On the Oak St side of the Kobe-Ya Restaurant, there is liquid run-off from the garbage of the business. This leakage smells like a mixture of rotting fish and rotting flesh. It leaks onto the sidewalk on Oak street. In the Autumn, there is a tree on that sidewalk and when the leaves fall and cover the garbage juice, it ferments and the smell is nauseating. I live nearby and lately, when I open my window that is down the street, the smell is so strong that it permeates through my house.

This has been going on for many years now (3 that I have noticed) and every year, around the hotter months, the garbage smell gets worse and worse. I have tried to contact the owners about it but I have gotten no response back.

Perhaps a solution would be for them to either double-bag their garbage or to regularly clean out the dumpster. I cannot stress enough how disgusting this smell is. Even walking past the garbage dumping area is nauseating.

  • 1300 Fernside Blvd Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
We had a homeless man digging in my neighbors front yard and stealing plants and attempting to break into his car. Police were called, multiple times. He did this for AN HOUR!!!! 1.5 HOURS LATER, AN OFFICER DROVE BY but didn't stop. Not a good example of serve and protect.
