Notified About

  • 2470 Constitution Way Alameda 94501, United States - Alameda
    Under the constitution overpass
  • 2901 Encinal Ave Alameda, California - Alameda

Someone came outside and painted over the red curb again with gray colored paint, and moved a vehicle into the gray curbed area. The curb has always been red; but in the past, someone appears to have washed it away with paint thinner.

Maybe you can consider a negotiation with the person that keeps doing this, so that feelings are not inflamed. Obviously the person feels that they have the right to use paint thinner and gray paint whenever they want.

  • Wine And Waffles 1505 Park St, Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
this issue has been repeatedly reported by various residents in the area for I believe the past couple of years now (possibly longer than that). APD have been conveniently closing these reports, all of which are essentially duplicates of the exact same issue, so that it looks like the city resolved the problem (despite the fact that they never actually did) and it doesn't even show up on the site anymore. This way, users have to report it all over again every half year or so as APD continue ignoring the problem and letting homeless take over the neighborhood. One homeless man in particular has been hovering around this block for at least a year now (maybe 2 years or even longer?) He has a habit of not wearing shoes so that people going to the restaurants in the area can enjoy the appetizing scent of his sweaty feet, coupled with the wonderful aroma of his urine and possibly other bodily fluids/various garbage that he and his fellow homeless friends so graciously donate to our island every day. Glad to know APD is still ignoring this issue even after years of repeated reports from God knows how many other neighbors. Great job! Keep up the fine work not enforcing any laws and letting criminals do whatever they want with impunity to our once-lovely island community!
  • 2433 Mariner Square Loop Alameda, CA 94501, USA - Alameda

Day 2: Problem continues. Bus shelter unusable for paying customers including seniors and disabled.

Why was this matter considered closed? Please stop responding to every homeless matter with the boiler plate paragraph, it is insulting.

Let's help this person and the folks of Alameda who would like to use the bus shelter for its intended purposes. Thanks!

    Dear City Manager,

As a senior with both mobility and vision challenges, I am concerned about the increasing number of sidewalk obstructions that you are creating. Limebikes are impeding access in the West End. There are dozens of them scattered everywhere. Today, there were three blocking disabled access near Paganos. When I tried to move them, they said that they were calling the police. Why are you having the police respond? Shouldn't protecting senior and disabled be a priority for the police, not protecting LImeBikes? Also, there are now Package Bots in the West End. There was one today at about 3:45 p.m. at Sixth Street and Central that took up most of the sidewalk. Have you approved robot sidewalk deliveries? The robot was accompanied by a young man, but are you seriously considering allowing robots package delivery vehicles on our sidewalks? It is bad enough having to avoid bicyclists, skateboarders and electric hover type vehicles. While I do not believe that you are deliberately seeking to hurt senior and the disabled, the lack of engagement on your part is having the same effect.

  • Shoreline Dr Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
The two vehicles (Ambulance and van in front of it) are homeless encampments that are littering and dirtying up the beach areas wherever they park. The beige van does have a dog or pit mix and when walking our dog, we don't feel safe.
  • Doolittle Dr Alameda 94502, United States - Alameda
Multiple homeless encampments on the north side of Doolittle between Harbor Bay Parkway and Island Drive.
  • China House Restaurant 2328 Santa Clara Ave, Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Boom cars - vehicles with high powered subwoofer systems, typically with lots of other assorted aftermarket modifications like 20+" wheels and illegal exhaust kits - are overrunning our peaceful island community here in Alameda. They regularly drive through various streets on the island (sometimes well in excess of the posted 25 MPH speed limit) blasting their vulgar loud rap music at the highest volume setting possible, vibrating nearby buildings and causing a major nuisance to residents across Alameda. This is in violation of both state law as well as local county ordinance. APD regularly allows these drivers to drive recklessly and cause major unnecessary noise pollution in our neighborhoods with total impunity right in front of them and refuse to ever stop and cite these drivers. Please start stopping and citing these reckless and loud vehicles. Me and thousands of other Alamedans are tired of the sanctity of our neighborhoods being violated by these loud and vulgar reckless vehicles coming into our peaceful community from Oakland.
