Downed tree across path coming up the stairs from lower part of park to upper part
  • 90 High St New Haven CT 06511, United States - Downtown
Yale facilities vehicle parked on sidewalk and in bike lane. Lots of on street parking available. People feel comfortable doing this because it's never enforced. Makes the street less safe for everyone.

This is only one photo. Shepard Avenue is very narrow with parking on one side of the street. During the previous snow storms, to avoid hitting cars, the snow plow drivers have been digging up my driveway. I can send more photos if needed. Note too that stone in front of sewer had been cracked for two winters and it gets progressively worse. The beginning of my driveway is a mess due to snow plow drivers leaning toward one side of the street.

This neighbor has continuously left trash out on the side of the road. This is the 2nd time we have made this same complaint. They just don't get it. These must not be smart people or they feel they are above it. We are tired of nothing getting done to resolve this
  • 847-853 Quinnipiac Ave New Haven, CT 06513, USA - Fair Haven Heights
Early this morning, on 5/28/2017, there was a 3 car accident on Quinnipiac Avenue. The remnants of this accident (car parts, car fluids and the like) were not cleaned up by the responding tow truck companies. Now, motorists are swerving to avoid these car parts. May cause another accident. Please send public works to clean this up.

Second consecutive week that leaf bags from our household and others on Yale Avenue and West Elm have been overlooked Yesterday's substantial rain has likely made the bags heavier and could have compromised their strength Thank you
  • 410 Waterfront Street New Haven, Connecticut - Annex
A gigantic container of scrape metal is built next to high tension wires coming out of UI power generation plant. The height of the metal mountain appears to be at the height of the wire , If arcing was to occur, there would be a major blackout in the city. Also, what affect would so much metal have on the fields (corona, EMF) around the wire? Then if the metal was lowered, how much danger to the operator working on so high a pile? I have seen this while driving on 95, but never seen the pile so high. and I fell this should be addressed.
  • Alston Avenue New Haven, Connecticut - Westville
Yesterday (Friday, May 26) was a street sweeping day for our neighborhood, but Alston Avenue (between Chapel and Woodbridge) was not touched. When will this be completed? Without advance notice, we cannot remove the cars from the street.
  • 436 Front St New Haven, CT 06513, USA - Chatham Square
For the user who posted a complaint about the flooding of the Dover Park handicapped ramp on Front St at Bailey St: here's the problem. The catch basin and drain is completely choked with mud and debris. This catch basin needs regular checking/cleaning since it's at the bottom of the Bailey St incline
  • 55 Willis St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Newhallville
There have been numerous complaints about the uneven sidewalks on Willis Street and an equal number of requests to fix the problem. The sidewalk is uneven where a segment was replaced and the old sidewalk remained, as noted in this instance. On April 23, 2021, at approximately 12:30pmEDT a 75 yo citizen tripped as a result of the unevenness of the sidewalk and fell. He damaged his cell phone and complained of hitting his shoulder and hip in an effort to break his fall. My Alderman, Mr. Wingate was notified of this situation. I am notifying the city of this situation. I refuse to allow the "excuse" of this being "COVID" that this situation can not be addressed, as this has been brought to the attention of the city via the alderman FOR YEARS. It is sad that something ELSE had to happen to draw attention to this situation. Patching the sidewalks is not acceptable.
