Notified About

  • 1807 Ditmas Avenue - City Council District 40

House at corner of Ditmas Avenue and E. 18 Street has badly cracked sidewalks on both the avenue and the street.
    Walking is hazardous.

Why has this homeowner not been issued a citation. and the city taken the responsibility of having it repaired?? Does someone have to break a leg? I did in fact upload a photo of the crumbling sidewalk. The condition is getting worse.

  • 309 West 75th Street apt 8, New York, New York - City Council District 6

It is already 40 days (from 9th of Jan, 2018), we don't have gas, hot water, and hitting. We don't know what to do. The landlord is explaining that DOB is the issue, but we are not sure, how the @#$% is it possible, that government can keep the whole building without gas for longer than a month???
Can you guys suggest what to do? We have called 311, but they came and closed the cases. The landlord said, that DOB is looking into the case, and they will have to schedule the inspection and check boiler issue, and if it is right, then they will tell CoinEdison to restore the gas. THIS IS @#$%! How is this possible in 2018???

    PLEASE HELP!
    Thanks
    Tenants

  • West Road New York, NY - Roosevelt Island
Roosevelt Island's Meditation Steps is a great place to sit by the East River and watch the boats go by, have a bite to eat, get some sun, think, read a book or just relax. except when there are holes in the wooden planks

  • 305 Parkside Ave New York 11215, United States - City Council District 40
Cars without permits daily parking on park lawn have destroyed this formerly grassy patch blooming with crocus and turned it into a muddy pit. The area is clearly marked “no parking anytime “. In addition to these cars destroying the grass and flowers, the cars have compacted the soil around the root structure of the trees. These trees are around 100 years old and a Brooklyn treasure and may not survive this treatment. These cars are parking here despite plentiful actual parking spots. The owners of these permitless vehicles should be ticketed, towed, and held financially responsible for the damage to the park. Here are just some of the license plates of these vehicles: NY EXP520, NY GDF 3211, NY HAT 9592, NY HBX 2110, NY GMD 9475, NY GAR 3136, NY FPZ 2438, NY EVV 6357, NY HWE 9448, NY GJB 3084, NY FHV 4805, NY HJN 3648, NY JDR 7528. I have photographs of all of these vehicles parking here and will continue to record their plates
  • George Washington Bridge & Hwy 9 New York, NY 10033, USA - Washington Heights
Stairs from Riverside Dr to NY-9A dead-end at a fence piled with trash. This is a very dangerous situation, particularly given the seclusion and length of the stairs. The sidewalk should be cleared and the steps should be repaired to facilitate pedestrian movement between Fort Washington Park and Washington Heights.
