This has GOT TO STOP. Road work along Bangerter Hwy, between 12400 and 11800 South, from early evening till early early morning is making it nearly impossible for me to sleep. This has been going on, off and on, for a while now. The loud humming and sometimes high pitch humming, from the massive machines along the highway, doing whatever they are doing, is incredibly loud...for HOURS! And I'm a quarter mile away, I can only imagine how much worse it is for those right along the highway. Can't that machinery be used after rush hour traffic in the morning, especially now that it's cooling down? I can hardly take it anymore. I don't know how I'm going to survive the two years it's going to take you to re-do the intersection at 11400 So and Bangerter. No one is going to be sleeping at all. PLEASE find a different solution and let us sleep!!

East and West Traffic is extremely packed during school hours Monday- Thursday 830am to 930am and Fridays 830am to 230 pm. These lights last no more than 15 seconds and I constantly count 2-5 cars clearing the light. this is unacceptable!! that stretch of road is not big enough to handle the elementary schools and jr high traffic and also the go home traffic through there. this light needs to be adjusted to handle to traffic. the lights going north and south are 2 minutes. the east and west should be of equal time to handle that traffic!!!
Bacchus Hwy from Old Bingham Hwy to 11800 South has been greatly deteriorated due to a combination of heavy traffic and construction.
Not only is it severe enough to add excessive ware to vehicle's suspension, it also possess safety concerns as to not being able to safely maintain control of one's vehicle.
The traffic signal for those turning left on to the SB I-15 on-ramp from westbound 10600th overpass needs to be re-timed as it's still usually green while the on-ramp has filled up waiting for the Meter signals. That signal should be timed shorter to prevent drivers from over-flowing into the eastbound traffic lanes, blocking traffic. Or the meter signals need to allow more throughput.
The light at 11400 south does not allow enough time for traffic travelling west to safely get through the intersection. I travel south bound bangerter hwy often and get stopped at the light. EVERYTIME, the traffic has not been able to get out of the intersection before the light changes. I have seen numerous near misses. You are going to have a serious wreck there because west bound can not get through the intersection and if the light changes for the south bound traffic and you have a car traveling 50mph...someone is going to get killed. PLEASE GET THIS FIXED!!!!
Sometimes the East bound traffic has a turn light and sometimes the west and east get a turn light together. But always going west on 98th the green is too short. Only a few cars can make it through before it changes causing lots of traffic along the road.

I just about got clobbered this morning trying to turn westbound on 114th S. from northbound bangerter in SJ. I just passed what turned out to be a giant wreck in the same spot so apparently I’m not the only one. New signage says Westbound turn lanes will close on Monday, but the way they have redone the lanes as of this morning is a mess! You can’t tell where to go, and the light went from green to red on me halfway through the intersection even though I was the second car. You should just close those left turn lanes now. Better than a wreck.
