Notified About

  • 1 To 80 Mott St New York, NY 10013, USA - Lower East Side
MANYcars with parking permits have parked ILLEGALLY for years, Mon-Fri, at the same metered locations on lower Mott Street using a Court Officer and NYPD and Corrections parking permits. That's not a typo - this illegal parking has gone on for YEARS!!! Aside from the blight, NYC loses more than $50-million a year in parking meter revenue from government employee commuters abusing their parking permits - That's about a 1/2-BILLION dollars lost since Bloomberg's been in office. NYPD Traffic Enforcement (212) 233-0878) was contacted and the cars have been documented - please note this is EVERY working day. 'Can't run a city or a business like that. Councilmember Margaret Chin has walked by illegally parked cars all the time in Chinatown but she's more concerned right now with a double tax, the Business Improvement District and also getting tourists arrested for scoring knock-offs on Canal Street.
  • Houston @ Mott Strteet - Little Italy
urgent...someone is intentionally destroying the street trees...this is the 2nd on, cut halfway through with a saw and ripped down...1st was at corner of Bond and Bowery. Please alert Police and Parks.
  • 487 Broadway New York, NY - Soho
Every single day there is chaos on Broome St. as traffic from the closed Hudson St. Holland Tunnel entry is diverted. The din of the honking alone makes life difficult for the hundreds of people who live and work here. One traffic cop at the intersection of Broadway would go a long way towards fixing this problem.
  • 423 Broome Street Manhattan, New York, NY - Soho
For the whole two miles east from the Holland Tunnel all the way past Chrystie Street, traffic is three cars wide and the drivers block each grid throughout weekends, and THEY HONK CONTINUOUSLY.
Rarely traffic cops are assigned to direct the flow, though cops are sometimes observing cell phone use of drivers, they usually stay in the shade in a group of 4, or inside their cars parked on the sidestreet. The honking noise is horrible. There are DOT signs posted that there is a '$350 FINE FOR HONKING' , at Broadway and Broome, and two 'NO HONKING SIGNS" up Lafayette and Prince near the Fire Department, and why is a 'NO HONKING $350 FINE' sign posted on Thompson Street (West of West Broadway) a one-lane North-South street?! WHY don't they enforce the no honking and get those good fines?
  • Broome Street NYC, NY - Lower East Side
Red light, see it? there they are blocking the grid and so the drivers honk and HONK and HOOOONNNNNNKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!
When are the police going to control the animals? there is a $350 fine for honking posted a block away, what a great and EASY way to collect fines.
  • 436 Broome St Manhattan, New York, NY - Soho
the drivers honk all day, they get no where, there is just lots of other people crossing Manhattan on streets who should be using the Verrazano Bridge from Long Island to New Jersey, but they'd rather save the, what, $12? so they sit in traffic. so they get esasperated at the long wait. whose fault is that? why do we residents have to endure this? ! ?
  • 430 Broome Street Manhattan, New York, NY - Soho
This is 5pm Thanksgiving and the drivers going west to the tunnel have lined up along Broome St and impatiently honked incessantly one leaves off as the nest starts up, since about 9 this morning. SHown, they block the grid: green light, but North bound car cannot cross them. PEDESTRIANS have to weave through tight knit of cars. The driver of one was texting and when he sensed the traffic move DID'NT LOOK UP WHILE HE RELEASED THE BRAKE AND STARTED ROLLING FORWARD, which would have HIT ME crossing with the light, except that I was on the lookout and dodged successfully. THIS IS DANGEROUS! You would not live like this - why make us???

Bubby's constantly leaves a foul-smelling mess of wet trash along N Moore St. Other restaurants manage to clean up after themselves but Bubbys again leaves the stink of trash and debris. It is a health hazard
