Light is still out - did you run out of light bulbs???? This has been out for well over a year.
Also - why are all the street lights so dim, other than the new ones on Canal St??? It's a pedestrian/car accident waiting to happen...
A large debris pile located in the Community Garden at Splaine Park is harboring rodents including rats, mice and rabbits. Many complaints from neighborhood regarding rodents and debris from the garden.
This condo association constantly leaves their barrels on the sidewalk for months. They don't maintain the plants so they are now overgrown and completely blocking the sidewalk on the Churchill side of the building.
The new traffic configuration is not marked well enough when leaving Salem Willows via Fort Ave (right by the entrance to a Salem State Lab and whatever else is in there). I was driving into Salem Willows and a car leaving drove right at me in the wrong lane. I honestly believe the car did not realize they were in the wrong lane. There is so much street with a bike lane and parking space to the right and the lane leaving is very small and not well marked. Maybe further signage or a small island dividing the lanes is needed.
What is the parking policy for the new (small) lot at Beattie Park on Derby Street? There is a non-descript sign but I've seen several vehicles parked there nonstop since the lot was created last month and none of them have Salem stickers. If parking is restricted there, then there needs to be a more visible sign. Thanks.
Something needs to be done about the Lanes adjacent to the bike path along Fort Ave along side the sewage treatment and power plant it's very confusing as to what is the correct Lane to be in. There needs to be some clearer demarcation lines if nobody is parked in the angled parking it looks as though that's a lane which would put the oncoming traffic in the wrong place.
I've had people coming straight toward me on three occasions now.

Please replace/ repair curb area that was destroyed by a snowplow. This issue is causing rain water to run onto my property and rotting a fence post. Rain water is pooling outside my rear door. I am concerned it could flood my basement.
There is a building permit in the window but what is happening here? This can't be a professional job, there's OSHA violations and jerryrigged fixes visible from the street. Construction debris (with rusty nails) overhanging the sidewalk, plus the typical amount of trash and food waste that's always scattered around this property.
Someone needs to look into this.
