My neighbors and I did a massive litter pickup this weekend along E 18th St. My neighbor cut back some of the scrub brush growing over and through the fence between Elliot Ave S and 10th Ave S. It catches garbage, can make it difficult getting to garbage and otherwise shelters undesirable activity along that stretch. So he trimmed some of it back. He's laid the brush in piles along the boulevard there, would the city please pick it up? We took care of all the garbage, we'd just like help with the brush. Thank you!
Needs Additional No parking/bike lane signs. Numerous cars keep parking in the bike lane but 311 says they won't enforce due to lack of adequate signage. This is endangering bikers and needs to be addressed ASAP
I bike on the Diagonal Trail. I’m glad there is now a protected 2-way bike lane on the east side of 18th. However, crossing the street, southbound on the Diagonal at the northeast corner of Stinson and Hennepin is dangerous! Westbound cars on Hennepin turn right on a red light there, without even looking to see if bikes/peds are using the path. I have narrowly escaped being hit twice this week at that spot. There is a “No turn on red” sign there, but motorists routinely ignore that sign. Further, the Diagonal trail is obscured by the railroad bridge structure so they don’t see me coming, lit up and very visible. Please do something about this potentially dangerous situation.
