Notified About

  • 300 499 Harding Blvd Norristown, PA 19401, USA - Norristown

Harding Blvd and Sterger St has always been a confusing intersection. Now with baseball season upon us there are more children and traffic. There are children all around this intersection, from Elmwood park to the basketball courts, baseball fields and the Pal Center. A Stop sign or even a traffic light may help alleviate the confusion. Just once I would love to see a police car sitting on Harding Blvd between the corner and the Pal Center. People whip so fast around that corner and have no way to see what is in front of them until it is too late. Usually it is a parked car pulling out and you hear the brakes screech, but one day it could be a child crossing the road there!

The police have no problem ticketing anyone for parking on the grass. It would be nice to see them help with this safety issue as well.

  • 1300 Astor St Norristown, PA 19401, USA - Norristown
handicap ramps needed, street has not been paved in over ten years.
  • 1321 Astor Street Norristown, PA - Norristown
  • 321 W Main St Norristown, PA 19401, USA - Norristown
When rush-hour traffic can turn right (on red or green) from Main onto 202/Markley toward KOP, it cuts down significantly on the backup at that traffic light. Cars parked illegally on the S. side of Main cause a block-long snarl. Some targeted morning ticketing or better signage could send an important message.
  • 322 George Street Norristown, PA - Norristown
Sanitary sewer overflowed onto sidewalk and into George street in December and has not been cleaned up by landlord. This has been reported to DEP and Norristown Sewer and Code enforcement. Now the tenent has put bags of trash on top of it and Mascaro won't pick the trash up because it is a health risk. Maybe the county health dept should be contacted. The trash has been picked up but the sewer debris has not been cleaned up possibly because it has been frozen. I am monitoring it twice a week.
  • 201 Swede St Norristown, PA 19401, USA - Norristown
The timer on this light needs to be fixed. Traffic on Lafayette Street is held up for a very long time at this intersection for no good reason.
  • 301 Markley St Norristown, PA 19401 - Norristown
  • 726 George St Norristown, PA - Norristown
The woman who lives at this address, has been reported to authories to many times to count! She has taken over the abandon property at 724 George St. She has been collecting trash and garbage since she moved in about 8 yrs ago, she concretes everything on her property and the properties that are attached to hers and she will not stop and no one seems to be able to get her to stop. She has been reported to Code Enforcement so much they don't want to deal with her at all. She attacks when confronted by the near by property owners and is very unpredictable. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!
  • 201 Dekalb St Norristown, PA 19401, USA - Norristown
There is no reason to have a no turn on red sign whjen merging on to a one way street, it backs up traffic turning left onto Dekalb from Lafayette.
  • 1000-1012 Powell St Norristown, PA 19401, USA - Norristown
Southbound Powell - the red light in front of the library is ridiculously long, and the green light compensates by being way too short. :-(
  • Airy St At Dekalb Norristown, PA 19401, USA - Norristown
Please resurface Airy Street at DeKalb, adjacent to the church. The road is like a washboard!
  • Main And Markley Streets - Norristown
For thirty years or more traffic backs up on Main Street all the way to Hamilton EVERY rush hour by people simply wanting to cross over Markley Street, on Main Street to the East end of town. We need two lanes eastbound on Main Street at Markley.
Once upon a time that is the way it was and as the street is wide enough, there is no sane reason why it cannot be again. The problem was compounded by the "temporary" left turn arrow PENNDOT placed on Westbound Main street at Markley to turn onto the Dannehower Bridge during the reconstruction of
the DeKalb Street bridge over the river in the early 1990's (?), shorting the light Eastbound even more.
It is long overdue that whomever is responsible for this unnecessary traffic jam to fix it. We need two lanes Eastbound on Main crossing Markley, period. It is an outrage this manufactured traffic jam has gone on this long.
