Part of this drainage canal is in the Pinellas Park district and part is in the city of Largo district. In other words behind our house is Pnellas Park but everything north that abuts Ranchero Village and Pine Forest is the city of Largo. I contacted the city of Largo several times and was told there was a work order in process to get the drainage ditch cleaned out. I’ve only see them go over and mow but from the pictures you can see below, it is terribly over grown. Over the years from my recall this has only been dredged out once maybe twice and I’m not sure who did it. It has been neglected for a very long time causing loads of vegetation to grow in the drainage canal and consequently the water flow is basically nonexistent. The stagnant water was checked last year by Pinellas County and loads of mosquito larvae were found and they treated it and my yard and the neighbors unkept swimming pool. We understand that money has been allocated to clean up drainage canal’s and ditches in our area and we would very much like a response from someone as to when we can expect this to be done. We purchased this property 40 yrs ago because it was actually considered on the water. Instead of a beautiful place for the ducks to swim and otters to Roam, it has become a horrible eyesore and we need attention to it .

Can you please provide some information about the Oak St NE paving project- (off Gandy Blvd) it has been ongoing for 2 1/2 months and the road is nearly impossible - and very progress is made to reconstruct this 1/8 of mile- I invite you to drive your car down this road. White discharge appears in the evening most afternoon for the lastweek

Vagrants with large black dog are living under City Pavilion during the day and on a disable 1/2 sunken sailboat 10ft off the banks of Grandview at night. Vagrant keeps rowboat tied to boat ramp to navigate him & his dog back & forth. He is storing chairs, cooler, jugs of water under city pavilion like it's his living room. He is defecating at the boat ramp and drinking alcohol in open container all day long on while sitting on his furniture under pavilion. Dog get tied to pavilion post the entire day! Please REMOVE THE SAILBOAT from the lagoon and REMOVE the homeless person from living @ our city park!

Improper outdoor storage and maintenance:
Traffic cones, bicycle wheels (not attached to bike), wood leaning against building, buckets, mops, pile of block/bricks, screen off window (lying on the ground - rear of building), lights on exterior of building (required by building code next to means of egress, i.e., sliding glass doors) are upside down and presumably inoperable as they are exposed to water intrusion, sheds are in disrepair, etc, etc

This property is an eyesore and continual problem. Unbelievable that Codes closed this case today!!!

Constantly water on the South side of the street on 21st ave NE between Locust and Oak. Believe it is being pumped from 2020 Oak St NE. There is water even when there is no rain and other streets are dry. Possible drain issue. Mosquito attractor also.

After 10 mins of rain, water reached center double line and didn't flow at all on Southside of 30th ave N between 1116 30th ave N & 1100 30th ave N Southside of road. Water sat in front of 1108 30th ave N reaching double center lines and expanded from alley and 11th street N south side of road. Cars started driving on north side of road in wrong lane as they traveled east towards mlk. The asphalt on this side near curb needs to be raised to help the water flow towards sewers. It seems 30th ave N between 16th street N and MLK might need to be looked at during a rain by higher management cause cars where at a stand still on 30th ave N approaching MLK also. I have pics and videos to show this occurrence it was bad flooding and not nice at all for being a newly paved road.

It rained last night ... one night of rain and we have 8 inches of standing water in our alley! which spills over into our yards... the neighbors behind me and myself have brought in fill dirt and yet this problem continues! If a fire truck or a power truck needed to access this alley they couldn't putting our safety in jeopardy!!! I have photos but they won't load...I've had enough...we pay taxes too and don't deserve to have been dealing with this for the past few years.... It's not a canal! Time to hit the media since the city refuses to take responsibility and fix what you messed up!

Isn't this ILLEGAL or a VIOLATION of a HEALTH CODE within the City of St. Pete??

This is the second report. Homeowner has maintenance person who continues to pour what smells like gasoline on the rock yard to kill weeds. The house is on the canal and with all the rain, the runoff is contaminating our waterways

For 2 years this sinkhole from water drain collapsing has been reported to the City with these barriers (initially spray painted circles) and remains UNREPAIRED. The repair team dug a hole in my yard in front of the hedge in photo. That hole has enlarged with more rain. This is a major road hazard and is dangerous to residents walking or driving on our road where our homes set. My lawn is getting damage by traffic attempting to back up or divert away from these barriers. My pristine hedge has been damaged all over. GET THIS ESSENTIAL STORMWATER DRAIN AND RESIDENTIAL STREET REPAIRED ASAP!!!! TWO YEARS IS ENOUGH! I WANT COMPENSATION FOR THE DAMAGE TO MY PROPERTY!!

There is a white pitbull locked in an outdoor cage. he is never let out and doesnt even stand up anymore. no food or water. this dog is dying there all alone. please prosecute these people.
