Storm Drain Issue/Flooding Archived455 11th Ave Ne St. Petersburg, FL 33701, USA - Historic Old NortheastThis is what happens at 11th Ave NE and Cherry St even after a light rain. It has been like this for many months and the streets are always a wet mess. The townhouse construction on the 400 block of 11th Ave NE has left the street in horrible condition due to all the big trucks that were here during construction. They really damaged the street resulting in potholes that collect and hold water.

Codes Compliance Archived79th St S & Causeway Blvd S Saint Petersburg, FL, 33707, USA - Causeway Isles Neighborhood AssociationThis house has a boat on the south side of the house in its front yard. Because it is a corner this is NOT, by code a side yard. This is the entrance to the community and it needs to be addressed. Now it appears that the boat is in the water somewhere and it is just a boat trailer. Still a violation.

Protests Archived340 Rowland Ct Ne St Petersburg, FL, 33701, USA - Downtown Neighborhood AssociationMany people in the area fear that if the city allows the protestors to break laws, no matter how small (graffiti, traffic violations, fights, threats, etc.), it will lead to greater law breaking such as is happening in Portland, Chicago, New York, etc. There is also concern that the city posting the Black Lives Matter images on their site is supporting one group over the other. Most people believe is social change, but not in that particular organization which stands for something completely different. As a city, you are alienating those citizens that support the police & believe that organization (not the movement itself for change) is a violent organization focused on law breaking, violating citizens rights & bullying. It is not right for the city to support the fear mongers instead of their peaceful tax paying citizens. You give an inch, they take a mile & there is fear in your citizens. That is not right. Support the law abiding citizens that are now fearful and won’t walk Beach at night, won’t go to the pier during certain hours and are silenced because they do not feel supported by their local government.

Codes Compliance Archived2025 3rd Avenue North Saint Petersburg, Florida - Historic Kenwood Neighborhood AssociationA young couple have been living in a shed attached to 2035 3rd Ave N for over 2yrs, it has no waste facilities or water. The mother of the male in the shed lives in and owns the house... we have tolerated all kinds of animals in the back, many cats, a dog, rats, pet birds, ducks... they are all hoarders picking up junk, broken items left for the sanitation dept to pick up... however they just throw it on the ground throughout the yard. Now, a homeless woman, the mother of the female partner that lives in the shack is now living in a gazebo in the back yard ..the smell of feces and urine permeate the air. Feces and urine are being dumped on the dumpster in the alley behind their house. The house has attracted rats, mice, raccoons, opposssum. Additionally, the stray cats they bring in continue to have kittens.
