Codes Compliance Archived486 50th Ave N Saint Petersburg, Florida - St. Petersburg
Improper outdoor storage and maintenance:
Traffic cones, bicycle wheels (not attached to bike), wood leaning against building, buckets, mops, pile of block/bricks, screen off window (lying on the ground - rear of building), lights on exterior of building (required by building code next to means of egress, i.e., sliding glass doors) are upside down and presumably inoperable as they are exposed to water intrusion, sheds are in disrepair, etc, etcThis property is an eyesore and continual problem. Unbelievable that Codes closed this case today!!!
Next step is: photos, history & personal letter to Rick Kriseman in response to his request for a campaign contribution!

Pothole / Road Surface Issue Archived1856 Coffee Pot Blvd Ne St. Petersburg, FL 33704, USA - Historic Old NortheastThis issue hits on a couple issues. Drainage, pot holes, road surface missing and mosquito control. The water always pools in this area and stays for days/weeks causing pot holes to form along with mosquito breeding.

Other Archived333-403 16th Ave S St. Petersburg, FL 33701, USA - Commission District 7The seafood packaging plant here is dumping "fish guts water" into the water and ventilating its fish guts trash improperly. The smell is horrendous multiple times per week. Just drive up 3rd street when it's happening with your windows open or stop on the bridge.

Storm Drain Issue/Flooding Archived8006 12th Avenue South Saint Petersburg, FL - Yacht Club Estates Civic AssociationThere is a low spot in the street in front of this property. When it rains the water does not flow to any of the drains. This is causing standing water and mosquitoes.

Stormwater Issue Archived501-599 Delmar Ter S St Petersburg, FL, 33701, USA - Downtown Neighborhood AssociationPlease address the flooding on this street. Every time it rains, it floods and pot holes are created. You keep filling in the pot holes instead of addressing the real problem, which is the sewers. I have been calling and complaining for almost 3 years now. Was told they would be reconstructing the stormwater system on this street 18 months ago...

Protests Archived340 Rowland Ct Ne St Petersburg, FL, 33701, USA - Downtown Neighborhood AssociationMany people in the area fear that if the city allows the protestors to break laws, no matter how small (graffiti, traffic violations, fights, threats, etc.), it will lead to greater law breaking such as is happening in Portland, Chicago, New York, etc. There is also concern that the city posting the Black Lives Matter images on their site is supporting one group over the other. Most people believe is social change, but not in that particular organization which stands for something completely different. As a city, you are alienating those citizens that support the police & believe that organization (not the movement itself for change) is a violent organization focused on law breaking, violating citizens rights & bullying. It is not right for the city to support the fear mongers instead of their peaceful tax paying citizens. You give an inch, they take a mile & there is fear in your citizens. That is not right. Support the law abiding citizens that are now fearful and won’t walk Beach at night, won’t go to the pier during certain hours and are silenced because they do not feel supported by their local government.
