The depression in the roadway is 27 inches ( north south) by 24 inches ( east west) it is 4 inches deep at its deepest point: The depression is in the middle of the roadway, so it’s not caused by traffic: Last year the city ran a new water main under the street to 162, the depression lines up exactly with where they shot the new line. There is a blue paint mark in the pavement pointing in the direction of where they shot the new water line. Three daye ago I reported this to the City if St Petersburg Water Resources department, they said they would send out a crew. Haven’t seen any crew, haven’t heard a word from them. My neighbor reported this to the mayors action committee months ago, nothing has been done. It’s not just a matter of filling in the depression with some asphalt, the right people need to investigate the conditions of what’s under the roadway and determine whether there is a sinkhole developing.

This renter has only cut the grass ONCE, last spring. There are piled up tree branches and 3ft high weeds that grow out into the street blocking the drainage of rain water on our street.

462 43rd Ave Ne Saint Petersburg, Florida - North East Park Neighborhood Association
my back alley was repaved two years ago, and although workers assured us it would drain, it does not. it can flood enough to float the trash barrel down alley, short out my electric gate and be the perfect breading ground for mosquitos. There is also extensive flooding on the corner of Cherry and 43rd Ave NE. That corner does not drain to the storm drains and leaves a lot of standing water. I have put in complaints on both of these concerns, but have not got any responses. I am now trying this method

There was a strong chemical smell coming from Round Lake this last week and now birds have started dying. There are at least three dead ducks at the Lake as of yesterday. What did the city do to the lake? We have contacted Fish and Wildlife and are taking one bird to a sanctuary.

Please address the flooding on this street. Every time it rains, it floods and pot holes are created. You keep filling in the pot holes instead of addressing the real problem, which is the sewers. I have been calling and complaining for almost 3 years now. Was told they would be reconstructing the stormwater system on this street 18 months ago...

Squatters at the property are building improvised shelters in the back yard. They are also using car batteries and improvised wiring. They are also dumping waste water on the front lawn and in the street. This is a severe public health hazard and fire hazard.

There is a bicycle on the front tree lawn that has been locked to a water pipe for months and should be removed. The building itself is in disrepair with rotted facia boards, open windows with no screens and the front lawn is trashed and not maintained. Can this building possibly be in housing violation for its state of disrepair? Can the City remove the abandoned bicycle?

This is what happens at 11th Ave NE and Cherry St even after a light rain. It has been like this for many months and the streets are always a wet mess. The townhouse construction on the 400 block of 11th Ave NE has left the street in horrible condition due to all the big trucks that were here during construction. They really damaged the street resulting in potholes that collect and hold water.

The Left Bank Bar/Bistro has been leaving their commercial trash bins (both) open all night and day. Been going on for months. There have been now been rat and other rodent sightings. Also, the employees are leaving the kitchen floor mats out, mops out on the trash area. This is creating an environment of visual blight, and hazardous contamination (rat poop, gross trash water flowing from bottom of trash can). This area is just a few feet from where people eat and abuts a residential area, this needs to be addressed asap.

After the construction of the 3 new homes in 2017, the alley has been damaged due to all the heavy trucks. See pictures after every rain! I have more images....
