Storm Drain Issue/Flooding Archived3302-3398 58th Street North Saint Petersburg, Florida - Disston Heights Civic Association58th St N ditches junction with Miles Creek at 33rd Ave N. Miles Creek flows westbound going under 66th St N curving northward into Joe's Creek just west of 66th St at 40th Ave N. Joe's Creek empties into Cross Bayou. Miles Creek banks are gradually sliding into creek and there is much foliage and trees holding it together. Slow movement of water flow contributes to neighborhood flooding. The City should consider converting Miles Creek to a concrete viaduct to carry 4-6 times the water and also to serve as more water holding potential. See sample photo.

Flooding Acknowledged801-899 17th Ave Ne St Petersburg, FL, 33704, USA - Historic Old NortheastStanding water is a constant issue at the corner of 17th Ave NE and Beach Drive NE. For the past few days water has been draining from a construction site. Since there is nowhere for it to drain, it has pooled and is stagnant for several blocks. Mold (?) is now growing on the bricks and the deep and ever-growing puddle of water is 1/2 way into the street.

Storm Drain Issue/Flooding Archived916-998 Oak St Ne St. Petersburg, FL 33701, USA - Historic Old NortheastYou have had multiple entries on see click fix for this issue. I'm just highlighting it once again. I'm highlighting the fact that the issue always gets closed but never gets resolved. This standing water is a community danger. Someone has already broken her leg because of the slippery algae that has formed in it.

Storm Drain Issue/Flooding Archived2911 35th Ave So Saint Petersburg, Florida - Commission District 7The corner of 35th Ave So and Country Club Way So becomes a lake even during the smallest shower. We reported this over a year ago, workers were sent out and all they did was dig a hole and put up some barricades. Those are long gone now and the water still pools in front of my mother's house when it rains. A storm drain needs to be installed to the lake that is right next to the street.
