At the Walter Fuller Park the lake looks like its in ruff shape with overgrowth of green algae ,but besides that the large drain from the Jungle Lake on the dog park side if you look down in the large drain area you will see turtles piled up in the corners small ones medium ones and the longer they stay piled up in the drain they get this white sticky gunk all over them ,and it looks like the white gunk is coming from the water. When the water hits the concrete in the middle of the drain it leaves this white film on the bottom and causes the turtles to be pushed in the corners when we first seen the turtles there was about 12 stuck we got them out and put them back in the lake and few days later came back and got 2more out of the drain this doesn't seem right for them and not to mention the fall they take to the bottom of the drain with only and inch or so of water to fall in. Is there something that can be done about this it seems to be a stressful situation for the turtles. Also where does this water lead to?
Water has been out since 8 am flooding street with thousands of Gallons. Effecting several homes. Main break reported by multiple citizens to answering service but no call backs or estimated repair was given. Hostile answering staff unconcerned during a pandemic about sanitization or the waste.
