Again - reporting drainage ditches that do not drain. Ditches are full at one end of the street and do not drain beyond 13757 76th. Ditches are too low, and full of dead grass from the sod placed in them, inhibiting water flow.

More photos of dry areas available.

  • Macoma Drive Ne Pump Station Saint Petersburg Florida - Riviera Bay Civic Association

Dear City Stormwater Staff & Officials,

Is there the proper generator back-up for the stormwater pump station located near Rio Vista and Riviera Bay Parks located at the end of Macoma Drive NE in the event that there is flooding and electrical power is interrupted during Hurricane Irma. If not, I and other City residents would be willing to assist the City of St. Petersburg with locating an generator to power this critical pump station should electrical power be interrupted. Please let I and other residents know how I/we can help with this important preventative measure.

  • 199 Mystic Lake Drive North Saint Petersburg, Florida - St. Petersburg
There was a fish kill this weekend in Mystic Lake and it's connected retention area. The water quality folks might want to test it even though it was likely a temperature issue. There was tons of egrets, wood storks, pelicans, ibis, vultures and cormorants eating the dead fish so if there is a bunch of sick birds in a week this may be the origin.

If St Petersburg is trying to impersonate Newark, NJ, then its wildly successful. Keeping the waterfront, our greatest natural asset in pristine condition, SHOULD be a PRIORITY. Why bother building an $80 million Pier in these filthy waters? Can someone at the city lift a telephone and get this addressed PRONTO?
