As you can see from the picture, the sidewalk is in absolute need of replacement. It is unsafe, an eyesore, and an accident waiting to happen. Difficult to tell from the angle of the picture, but it has to be raised 6" off the ground.

There is criminal activity going on at the corner of Cassius St and Howard Ave. I feel that it is dangerous to go in that area at night.

Please contact the owner of this house and tell them to clean up this trash, that's been in front of their house for weeks. The person who cuts the grass has completely ignored it.

This Non-Owner occupied property in the City Point Historic District is having renovations done without a permit posted and unclear if there is Historical Commission approval given. Nothing is posted.

older dark blue lincoln was reported a few weeks ago was removed by owner now it was brought back on wed march 11TH the car was droped here off a flat bed tow truck the owner of the car put the car up on small jacks under the car took off the plates and left .please remove we want our street to be free from junk thank you.

This home is run down and unsafe to live in. There's garbage on the front porch accumulating. The lawn is over grown, the side of the house is filled with cars that look like they haven't been driven in years. The inside is cluttered with garbage and is a fire hazard and unsanitary. Rats and or mice have been observed and roach droppings. And there's a foul smell coming from inside. The basement smells of mold and stagnant water.

Does anyone know what to do with this issue?

My car was hit by a huge chunk of paving stones/debris from the back of a Tilcon truck when they were paving Washington Ave last month.
I pulled over to talk to one of the men in the traffic vests thinking that they were police or worked for the town — but the one I would up speaking with wasn’t. He actually was a contract worker and could barely speak English. I showed him the damage and he told me to “call the town.”

I know of some people who have had the damage to their cars paid for by the town from potholes and other such damage (road debris from the recent tornado also comes to mind). I don’t think it is fair to have to put a claim into my insurance and have to pay my deductible (I may as well just pay out of pocket to avoid the increased premium)!

Has this happened to anyone else? Has the town helped by paying for the damage? If I were to contact the town, who do you recommend I call?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

The fire in this building was over two week ago. Having all this trash outside is UNACCEPTABLE at this point.
People have been stopping by regularly to take metal and anything of value from the pile. Along the side of the house is burned up mattresses.

White BMW with Vermont plates has been parked on First St, between Greenwich & Howard Aves for over a year. Should have been registered in CT many, many months ago. Owner is not paying New Haven car tax that’s due. Needs to be ticketed and booted. “Do find CT taxes too high? Then park your car at The First Street Illegal Car Zone™ where car taxes are completely optional!”

tan station wagon with expired temporary marker # 40081D3. Expired Aug 13, 2019. Owned by same tax scofflaw who has multiple illegal vehicles on this single block and who lives in 1st floor apt of 80 First St. Taxes are optional in New Haven! Yeah!!
