Old Town West Neighborhood (neighborhood directly west of hospitals)

curbs overrun with water and gutters of the street not draining properly. street cleaning never happened this fall. I realize it has rained hard today, but standing water 2-3 feet into the street is excessive. curbs in not great condition, either. may need to be rebuilt. thanks.

In the alley behind my house the concrete cap on top of sewer work done has dropped 4". The neighbor to the south of me had sewer pipe replaced and the people he had do the work did not tamp the soil down correctly causing the concrete slab to sink 4 inches on one side.

I would like an update on the main & storm drain project at 7th & Jewell Ave. We've had 2 large, open pits at this intersection for over 2 months. Please let us know the next steps with a timeline. thank you.

This redbud, a city tree near our property, has developed a severe split extending up the vertical length of one of its 3 major limbs. The portion of the tree connected to this limb is hanging low to the ground and is an obstacle for cars driving down 7th. We thought we'd try to trim it but are now thinking it's more of a project than we can take on ourselves. The tree has not been looking the healthiest on the trunk and bark for some time now. If you decide that it needs to leave completely, that's fine with us. If you think trimming it will take care of the issue, that's fine too. We are concerned the entire limb is going to snap off on the next windy day. It's getting lower and more split each day. The tree is located on the south side of 7th Ave between Jewell and the alley located mid-block between Jewell and College. It is situated between 2 large pin oak trees. Thanks.

there is a cream-colored Chevy SUV on the street with no tires and up on bricks. No license plate on back of vehicle either.

The people living next door to my home moved out a couple of weeks ago and left all this trash in the yard.

The grass at this address is almost knee high. It's attracting rodents and other pests to the surrounding homes, I'm sure. It's also very unsightly for this neighborhood.

Black lab is chained to picnic table for up to 4 hours a day without water or food bowl.
