  • N Penn St West Chester, PA 19380, USA - West Chester
We should be able to pay parking tickets via phone and internet. In this day and age, come on, get with it!!!
  • S Church St West Chester, PA 19383, USA - West Chester
This segment of Church St. is one gigantic pothole with few bits of pavement left around it. For goodness sake, I have lived here for 4 years and the boro has not attempted any repairs since I ahve been here. You can actually see sand protruding from these craters, with the surface and the under-surface gone.
Are the boro officials trying to discourage people from driving, is this why?
For Pete's sake, we call ourselves one of the wealthiest counties in the nation. Is this what the boro roads look like in a wealth county, what's more, a county seat?

Route 322 Heading Into West Chester - West Chester
A new light was added near RamT. It's a terrible place for a light that is on a curve and before and after a bridge with metal grates. Try slowing down on the bridge with metal grates. It's slippery! Not a great place for a light. Traffic gets backed up more so because of the light.
  • 406 E Miner St West Chester, PA 19382, USA - West Chester
The abandon house at 406 E. Miner Street is falling down, pieces of the brick chimney are falling to the pavement. Rats have also been seen exiting and entering this house.
  • 1 South High Street West Chester, PA 19382, USA - West Chester

There needs to be a sign up by the traffic light indicating that the right lane is right-turn-only. Currently there is a sign painted on the road which is covered up by cars in times of heavy traffic, and a sign along High Street in the middle of the block, too far from the intersection to catch drivers' attention.

I drive home along this road every day, and multiple times a week, drivers in the right lane illegally travel straight through the intersection and risk colliding with the cars in the left lane who are legally going straight (and often the right-lane drivers think *they're* the ones getting cut off and start honking!). A sign posted up by the traffic light above the road would help this problem.

  • North Maryland Ave West Chester, PA 19380, USA - West Chester
The person who has 5 vans, at least 2 cars and a construction cart/trailer full of junk (not hitched, just sitting there) needs to be cited and forced to remove these vehicles from Maryland Ave. Our (nice) neighborhood is not his personal car lot and construction company storage,

  • 307 E Marshall St West Chester, PA 19380, USA - West Chester
Stop signs needed on E. Marshall St. at Convent Lane. It's a hazard to make a left turn on to E. Marshall St. in the morings during the school year. PENDOT has jurisdiction as it's the old right of way for Rt. 29 and refuses to fix this.
  • 501-599 Locust Alley West Chester, PA 19382, USA - West Chester
This street needs to be plowed and salted. I know it's an alley but, I 'd like to get my car out also.
  • Approx. Corner South Darlington Street - West Chester
Lot #9 across street from the municiple parking garage.
I put a five dollar & a one dollar bill ($6) in box for my parking spot at about 8:25 am.
A little after 9 am a $20. ticket was issued for my parking spot.
I discovered it on my windshield about 5 pm when i got back to my car. I called the number on ticket, and was told to write a letter stating the facts & enclose ticket. I did so, and then received a phone call saying i had to pay the $20 ticket. Apparently 'they' don't make mistakes.
I have spoken to others about this, and was told that it doesn't do any good to fight it in court...you can't win.
This is so outrageous when law abiding citizens get ripped off. I can't afford to take any time off from work now, so I will pay the ticket, but will never go into downtown West Chester area again.
I am a very upset senior citizen resident of East Bradford.
