There is a large hole in the northbound turn lane on Highway 24 in front of Sonic. You cannot see this hole at night, so when driving home last Tuesday night at 11 PM we hit the hole causing a bulge in my driver's side tire. My tires were only a couple months old, and replacing the one tire was costly. I would like to know if the city or county or whoever will reimburse me for the replacement of my tire due to the damage caused by the hole in the highway? I have pictures of the hole and I have receipts from the tire replacement. And, obviously, the hole needs to be repaired so no one else causes damage to their vehicle. Thank you for any help you can give me and I will be looking forward to your response. Alyson Billings 785-213-0712.
This neighborhood has up ground gutters, all water runs down the street through the drainage ditches until it gets to Soldier creek. The cement culvert built between 329 and 500 Pine Lane is full of soil and leaves/trach and is needing to have a bobcat dig it out in order for it to flow correctly to soldier creek.
Why is there still construction barriers up in front of that cell phone tower area that they were building? They have been done building that for quite some time now and don’t believe there is a reason to continue to have traffic swerve and go around this construction barriers. Is anybody paying attention to this at all?
There is several potholes in both the northbound and southbound N. Topeka Blvd. lanes starting in front of the BP gas station and between soldier Creek Bridge. There is a giant pothole in the southbound lane right before soldier Creek Bridge
there are several potholes on the south side of the road going from nw Brown to the east side of the cemetery. in some spot the road itself is crumbling away. some are getting very deep & you can not miss them because the road is so narrow.
Corner of Rochester and 25th Street. As you turn right onto 25th just before the Aldi there is a large Pothole that needs to be repaired. We own the North Star Steakhouse and have had multiple Guests concerned about damage to their vehicles by the pothole. Thank you
The street has sunk dramatically since sewer work was completed several years ago. Water pools dramatically and will be a breeding ground for insects. Please come and repave to make this portion of the street same height as the rest of the street.
