The road is in very poor condition with cracks and upheavals and the sides of the surface is falling apart. This section of road is traveled by thousands of people a day and should be replaced it is long overdue. There are several upheavals closer to Independence street that should have been fixed years ago and are very large.
Please fill numerous potholes in between northbound lane and right turn lane on to Walnut Grove Road (they are along the seam where the lanes butt up to each other). There is also a large pothole in the turn lane where the turn lane meets Walnut Grove Road. and Thanks!
This neighborhood has up ground gutters, all water runs down the street through the drainage ditches until it gets to Soldier creek. The cement culvert built between 329 and 500 Pine Lane is full of soil and leaves/trach and is needing to have a bobcat dig it out in order for it to flow correctly to soldier creek.
I don't know if the ditch on the northeast corner is city or county property, but I don't think it has been mowed all summer. Some of the weeds are over 3' tall. If you are headed west, and are in a low-profile car, visibility is almost zero unless you pull out into the roadway. There may have been more, but I am personally aware of 2 accidents at that corner in the last couple of months. It is a safety issue that needs to be addressed by either the homeowner or the city/county!!
