There is a dog crated outsielde every single day on the 3nd floor porch. The dog has no bedding and no access to water. It is currently 90F outside and the dog is locked in a black box, essentially.

The bar Pint Sized on the corner of Lark and Jay Street does not Seem to have Cigarette Butt buckets or ash trays. The sidewalks And both Jay and Lark Streets are LITTERED with cigarette butts which has Greatly increased since this establishment opened and Continues to Increase in the warmer weather as they set out chairs to encourage their patrons to sit outside. Not sure if this can be handled thru this system however I do not feel this would be a productive conversation if I attempted to discuss with the young owners. Can an Ash Tray mandate be implemented for such establishments with outdoor seating? People should want to enjoy this neighborhood but not at the expense of trashing our sidewalks with such filth.

474 Madison Ave Albany, NY, 12208, USA - Park South
Large graffiti painted on sidewalk between 474 and 476 Madison. The problem tenant in 474 and her 3 male friends were in that area setting off fireworks, drinking alcohol, and yelling between 10:00 and midnight. Check security and traffic cameras. In addition to the fire hazard, smoke and the ongoing disruption to the neighborhood, they left all the fireworks litter on the sidewalk and now this is spray painted. Police were called multiple times, but did not respond as usual. How that level of noise and smoke was also not seen and addressed by a single patrol officer, on the very public Madison Ave over that period of time, says it all. If this is what happens on a Monday night, imagine what it's like Thursdays-Saturdays.

For about two hours there have been countless dirt bikes and motorcycles racing down Lark Street and through Washington Park. While I was out walking the dog I saw two of them run the red light at Willett and Hudson without a care in the world. I’ve called APD and was told they’d send someone over - why isn’t someone here patrolling already? If they’ve increased patrol and actually have beat officers in the neighborhood as they claim, why does the problem continue to occur night after night?

This disgusting couch has been here for months. Really, months. I appreciate See Click Fix but it is not the public's responsibility to inform the city about things like this. Because the city clearly knows about it. Months. Really.

The crosswalk in front of the Downtube continues to be dangerous. It has not drained properly for years. It is either a patch of ice that people fall on or people have to go around and not use the safety of the crosswalk. For people with strollers, shopping carts, or disabilities requiring a ramp, they have no option, but to be on ice or wade through water, It's ridiculous that so much money went into Madison Ave., only to make it a traffic nightmare most of the day, but a drainage issue can't get fixed.

The pan handling is out of control right now. Why aren’t there more police on foot. It’s prime business time and one of Lark Streets biggest clientele is all over the street. The homeless and displaced. I am all for helping but how is anyone supposed to make a living when customers are being harassed for money on their way down the street.

This photo was taken at approximately 9:30 AM today (8/28/19). The parking enforcement employee from vehicle 344 was in the backseat of vehicle 342 where they socialized with the door open for approximately an hour. Not only are they wasting time at citizen and tax payer expense, but they are parked illegally in multiple ways. That side of Madison is no parking on Wednesday mornings until 10am, so they blocked the street sweeper...again. Even more egregious is that vehicle 342 is parked in a handicap accessible spot and vehicle 344 is parked in a clearly marked bus stop.
Additionally, they failed to ticket any of the vehicles also illegally parked along that side of the street all morning (some of them also visible in the photo). Citizens have made calls and posts repeatedly about this common behavior of a number of city employees, including Parking Enforcement staff who park and chat the day away, or drive around illegally talking on their cell phones ignoring cars blocking crosswalks and bus stops, motorcycles parked across sidewalks, cars in accessible spots without a hangtag, and non residents in residential spaces all day. Residents have actually stood waving their arms right in front of Parking Enforcement pointing to very visible serious parking and safety issues and they are ignored as well. Parking Enforcement vehicles also regularly run red lights, make U-turns in busy traffic, busy intersections, etc.. This has been brought to the attention of Parking Enforcement and yet it continues and these city employees felt totally comfortable doing what they were doing in a very public location for an extended period of time. Parking Enforcement was alerted to the issue today, but no supervisor showed up. Please note that many mornings multiple APD vehicles also illegally park in that bus stop, in that handicap accessible spot and also block the street sweeper while they are in the Raw Juice Bar talking for an hour or more when there are plenty of legal parking spaces 10-20 feet away. Would love to see people get out of their offices and really see what their staff are doing--or not doing-- in the community.

This is not about the ethical, hardworking city employees who are to be commended and are much appreciated.

There is a homeless couple living in the park and storing there belongings all throughout the day near the corner of Willet and State Streets. it is right across the street from 20 Willet. The couple use the park as their bathroom at night and have a permanent camp.

Between 3:00 PM and 3:10 PM today, a group of 14-18 motorcycles and ATVs came up Madison from West going East toward Lark. They were doing wheelies, and sat at the stoplight at Willett and Madison screeching and revving their engines filling the air with dark smoke/burning rubber and causing customers to pour out of 3 Fish and other businesses to find out what was going on. They then took off turning on to Lark going North. We witnessed the entire thing sitting outside at 3 Fish. We used to live in this area and wanted to give it another try, but had just been talking about how things have declined. It's dirty, smells like weed everywhere, dogs are crapping and peeing on sidewalks and in all the tree beds (curb your dogs like responsible pet owners!) and we have never seen such intentionally aggressive behavior from a group of motorcyclists. Everyone just stood helplessly by. The people who came out to witness it said this goes on all the time and the authorities are called but do nothing. They pointed out all of the traffic cameras that film all of this, but still no effort to find the offenders. This area is sadly declining in terms of litter, open drug use, noise and other behaviors allowed. There are equally interesting areas in other towns around Albany where civility, cleanliness, and a reasonable noise level are enforced. This used to be a great area. We hope it gets itself together.

Why is no one addressing the motorcycle noise and speed! This has been going on for a long time tonight. Very loud. Very dangerous. Reported to police but no one came.
