I noticed after today's collection one of the trash cans is nearly destroyed. They are not brand new but 2 months is not old enough to see this type of damage with normal abuse. I would assume with the location of the damage that it was stuck with force on the side against a hard object. I can not say for sure but I would think this would be from striking it against the waste collection truck. I am not sure how to prevent this type of damage in the future and would like some guidance on how to do so.
I had seven paper bags full of lawn waste at the curb on Sunday night. My trash and recycling was collected, but the lawn waste wasn't removed. Because we are now forced to use paper bags, I'm concerned that these bags will not last another week, especially if we have any major precipitation.
