Notified About

  • The Bistro At Grove Square 116 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07302, United States of America - Downtown
Scrolling sign is illegal and Jeff Favia is well aware of that fact as the city has taken him to court for this violation in the past.
  • 95 Marin Boulevard Jersey City, New Jersey - Downtown
The intersection of Columbus & Marin is complete chaos. I've almost been run down twice as a pedestrian there by aggressive drivers. A woman with a baby stroller screamed at the top of her lungs one of these times, because her stroller was also almost hit by a speeding SUV that just had to get through the crowd of pedestrians crossing there to Marin Blvd. Something has to be done about that intersection. Bring in the traffic safety experts or something, it is not working there. In the meantime, hire a temporary crossing guard at busy hours. It is outright dangerous at times. JC is dangerous for pedestrians in general, but that intersection is particularly bad.
  • 63 Erie Street Jersey City, NJ 07302, United States of America - Downtown
Please please please put in more stop signs and or speed bumps along Erie Street. Cars fly down from Newark avenue at speeds in excess of 30mph, they DO NOT stop for crosswalks and my pregnant wife was just almost run over in the cross walk by a motorist who was speeding and did not stop. This neighborhood is filled with young children and speedy drivers.
  • W Hamilton Place & Pavonia Jersey City, New Jersey - Downtown
The large dog run is always flooded by the fountain. It’s a high traffic dog run used by many residents. This issue needs to be addressed post haste! It’s absurd that the city refuses to focus on this ongoing issue. Please fix this now.
  • Address Unavailable - Downtown
I almost had three heart attacks watching cars go through the stop signs here at full speed. deathly afraid. I don't know what do do or if there is anything you can, but it is crazy. Recording a video of it and it is unbelievable.
  • Essex And Van Vorst Jersey City, New Jersey - Downtown
This complaint doesn't fit one of your categories. There is flagrant speeding in Paulus Hook. Sunday a speeding car hit a light rail at Essex and Van Vorst. The speeding on Van Vorst has actually worn down the speed bumps. We need traffic lights on the corners of Sussex, Morris, and Essex and Van Vorst. There is a huge influx of cars with the Lenox and now its sister building opening and it is dangerous to walk in this once quiet area.
  • 193 Van Vorst St Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtown
Need more lighting here as pretty dark- need 3-4 new lights next to the tracks
  • 310 10th St Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtown
STOP sign for traffic headed westbound on Tenth street at Monmouth has been removed by construction crew. it is sitting up against the building on Monmouth, obviously not visible to the traffic that it is supposed to stop.
  • 243a 2nd St Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtown
This section of roadway was dug up to deal with a leak on Thursday, November 9. The patch job is uneven. Heavy vehicles hitting this patch cause my building to shake. This stretch of roadway was repaved this last summer and I'd like to see it maintained as good as possible given it was about 10 years ago when it was previously repaved.
  • 137 Grand Street Jersey City, NJ - Downtown

    1. Apparently no HPC permit. Incorrect color, and no scoring on concrete

    2. Piled debris from work inside enlarged tree cut. This damages the tree by "collaring," and creates what looks like piled construction debris on the tree cut. They left the iron fence that is now too small to use.

  • 25 W Hamilton Pl Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown
Three abandoned bikes at the corner of 9th and Jersey, blocking sidewalk. City needs to remove them.
  • 648 Jersey Ave Jersey City 07302 United States - Downtown
Door was replaced on October 1st with a non-historic door (also reported then). Nothing has been done about it for over five months now.
