Bridge Street Neck is currently under a multi-million dollar clean up: repave, period lighting, brick sidewalks. It's going to look splendid but that's only the beginning.

The new owner of this property has not taken care of the snow on the sidewalk (bridge st) abutting the property. Also where this property is a business (along with a tenant living on 2nd floor) they have not plowed the driveway this winter. The fire escape (door) for 4 skerry st CT opens to this driveway. Also the "no parking fire lane" is on this driveway to allow firetruck access to both properties.

There are four cars buried in snow at the end of Northey Street (since the first storm). It has caused a horrible back up of snow in the road because they've never been cleared out. Though difficult, the owners of all 4 vehicles should be contacted or towed.

Traffic heading south on Bridge St. takes a left onto Bridge St. at the bypass Rd. They cut the corner tight, which is more natural than the way the lines are drawn and the sensors are set. This triggers the Northbound left turn signal into the apartments every cycle, even when there are no cars there, causing backups on the bypass Rd southbound. Perhaps you could disconnect the sensor closest to the intersection if there is more than one or make it only active if there is a constant signal.

I came home to find my driveway completely blocked by the snow plows have been piling up at the end of the street. I managed to shovel it enough so I could pull in, but I'm concerned the plows will continue to pile snow to a point where I will not be able to get out of my driveway when the storm is through. The same is true for my neighbor at 22 Conant.

Lemon Street Salem, Massachusetts - City of Salem
The plow has come down Lemon Street and has only cleared the middle of the street. There is a 3 foot wide band of unplowed snow on each side of the street.
The main purpose of calling a snow emergency / parking ban is so the plow can clear to the curb. Lemon Street is so narrow, we NEED to have the road cleared to the curb.
Last year, due to poor plowing, the City imposed a 4+ week parking ban for all of Lemon Street.
Please ask plow driver to push to the curb. Thank you.

Over the last 2 months this light has changed its signal pattern and is causing major delays during rush hour. There are long periods where it's red for everyone and no walk signal. Other periods it's green for St Peter though no cars are there. This should be set on a motion timer or go back to how it was months ago.

  • Bridge St And Webb St City of Salem, MA - City of Salem
When coming from Webb St toward bridge the light does not seem to register that cars are waiting on bridge to make the left hand turn. We've sat there several time for 10+ minutes without out it changing, finally having to turn right and then go through the light on bridge St.

Our street has had a abnormally large snow pile since the blizzard last week. This pile is the result of Jefferson Crossing plowing the snow from their side of the street to the residential side. We have tried to remove as much as we can but the pile, which is approximately 8-10 feet wide and 5 feet high, is unmovable by hand and is now frozen. This pile has also caused issues with us being able to enter and exit the house, and a lack of trash pick up for the past two weeks. The spot we cleared to exit the house and place trash has become a parking spot for a non resident for the past week making things even more difficult. Please send some equipment to clean this area up while there are clean up efforts going around the city, and before the next snowfall comes. This is the second time that I have reported this issue with no resolutions. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
