Notified About

  • 2046 Cameron Street Raleigh North Carolina - Hillsborough
City Council approved (twice) bike lanes and a turn lane on Cameron Street, and it's been months without road markings. Temporary roadway markings were painted, but they've washed away. It's completely unsafe for pedestrians and people on bikes without these protected road markings.
  • 411 North St Raleigh NC, 27603, USA - North Central

This stretch of Harrington Street just south of North Street and the RR crossing is extremely hazardous. There is no sidewalk, no markings, no stop sign. Two cars are allowed to park in the spot where pedestrians or cyclists would walk/ride. A steep curb/berm prevents any escape from speeding cars (who can now exit Capitol Blvd and, without stopping, turn left on Harrington and speed up the street.

I walk to work downtown and back every day, and hundreds of my neighbors in Glenwood South would like to use this route.

My request: 1) Remove those two parking places 2) Mark a skinny lane along both sides of Harrington Street, for pedestrians/cyclists/scooters 3) Require developers of lots just south of the tracks to install sidewalks, and require property owners to keep this stretch clear of vehicles, litter, etc.

  • 1505 Duplin Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
The hill on Lewis Road from Brooks Avenue to Nottingham Road continues to affect our neighborhood. Traffic/speed here has increased and gotten worse over the last 5-10 years now to a point where it needs to be addressed before something bad happens. Cars speed down this hill where there are no sidewalks, many children, walkers and pets affected. Our intersection alone at Duplin Road and Lewis Farm Road houses over 18 children + the bus stop for Lacy Elementary. We need a 4 way stop solution before the school year starts and would appreciate any attention to this issue.

405 West Peace Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Mordecai
While the road is under construction, the pedestrian path crosses the capital boulevard exit and entrance ramp. There are no markings for pedestrians and no suggestions to the drivers to look for people on foot. Many, many people (including students) walk this way every single day and it is not clear or safe. A stop sign instead of a yield sign would be a nice first step. But also a watch or yield for pedestrians sign should be installed.
  • 2-6 Enterprise St Raleigh, NC 27607, USA - Wade
An employee of Gonza Tacos Y Tequila dumped used cooking oil and grease out of a 55 gallon trashcan down a storm drain on Enterprise Street Sunday night during closing. I presume this is not the first time this has happened and won't be the last. Oil residue can be see staining the road in the photo.
  • 1101 Hillsborough St Raleigh, North Carolina - Hillsborough
I would like to ask that the City Council instruct the Police Department to enforce our noise ordinances in the downtown residential areas, in particular as it relates to muscle cars, motorcycles, and scooters. I have lived downtown on Hillsborough Street for over two years and the noise has gotten worse and worse, at all hours of both day and night. I have witnessed excessively loud vehicles pass by police as if nothing is wrong. Noise pollution is deteriorating our City and will drive good families and individuals away from downtown. Raleigh should be the showcase of our great state, warm and welcoming, not a nuisance town, loud and dividing.
  • 910 Brookside Dr Raleigh, NC 27604, USA - North Central
Vegetation is obstructing the bike lane to the point you have to ride in the car lane. This has been an issue for more than 2 months now.
  • 2107 Breeze Rd Raleigh 27608, United States - Five Points
Limited visibility and traffic on Beechridge approaching intersection at excessive speeds make this intersection difficult to navigate. This is also a bus stop for elementary school age childrenat at about 3:30 p.m. A four-way stop would help calm the traffic pattern and make it safer to turn from Breeze road onto Beechridge from both directions.

Construction site run off. Hi. This lot has been subdivided into two lots and has been essentially clear cut. The now connected lot is 1303 Nottingham, both under ownership by the contractor developing the lot. Neither lot has ANY soil barrier or soil retention barriers. Both lots have significant red clay run off and some sort of oozing (fuel) running into the feed of the Beaver Creek in the green way park across the street. Please get this issue to the appropriate city agency so that corrective action can be taken to avoid any further spills into the road or water shed for the creek on the Parks green-way. I've other images showing the spill into the creek.
  • Aloft Raleigh 2100 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC 27607, United States of America - Wade
Why pay for parking on Hillsborough Street when you can just park for free all day in the spots in front of Aloft Hotel? The sign says loading zone only but there are parking spots painted on the street and sidewalk and people park there all day long. This car was there at 8am and still there at noon. There is no enforcement of a loading zone. It's become a free parking area.
  • 801-821 Brookside Dr Raleigh, NC, 27604, USA - North Central
The center plants have overgrown and some are so tall they’ve fallen over or been washed out. They’re in the road and need a desperate trim. This used to look so nice but now it looks unkempt.
  • 2200-2252 Clark Avenue Raleigh North Carolina - Wade
However, at this light in all directions, people are nearly hit by cars taking right turns. Sometimes the cars will not stop of red, but even when the light is green, they do not respect the right-of-way for pedestrians that have been signaled to cross. We need more signage or other preventative measures here to prevent this from happening.
