  • 1220–1418 Brookside Dr Raleigh 27604, United States - East Raleigh
On Brookside Drive in front of the Conn Elementary School construction zone, there are two very large, deep holes in the road. These are clearly man made holes, construction related. There were no cones, no warning sign, no covers put over these holes. I hit them going 35mph (the posted speed limit) at 9:45pm on Sunday October 13th - it was very dark and had been raining, making visibility worse. I have a bulge in my front passenger side tire because of the negligence of the construction company that did not cover or put warning cones out. When we returned to the scene to take pictures, there was another lady there whose front passenger side tire was completely blown because she hit the same hole. She moved orange cones out into the holes to prevent other drivers from hitting it and causing damage to their tires/cars. I have her name and phone number to corroborate the story.

  • 4216 Converse Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Falls Of Neuse
Chain link safety fence for Big Branch Creek was taken down by a driver coming down Compton Road that lost control of his vehicle. The poles are scattered in the creek and part of the fence is now in Big Branch Creek collecting debris. Some of the houses in this area flood if the creek is blocked with debris. The fact that the fence is down is a safety issue with Douglas elementary school down the street. It also appears that the concrete abutment may have been cracked from the impact of the automobile too. This accident occurred March 6. It is really a mess. Is the city responsible for this or, do we need to have it cleaned up?

This issue has been reported and eventually fixed in the past but shrubs are once again obscuring the view of oncoming traffic without pulling into the lanes of oncoming southbound Wake Forest Rd. traffic
  • Wake Forest Rd And Courtland Dr Raleigh, North Carolina - Blount Corridor
Large over grown tree limbs and bushes have created limited visibility at the intersection making it impossible to see the street entrance when traveling south on Wake Forest Rd.
Due to road construction on Courtland Dr. vehicles are traveling the opposite direction on a portion of Courtland Dr.to avoid the detour even though it's clearly marked one way creating a head on collision scenario for vehicles legally turning onto Courtland Dr.
