6120 Duraleigh Rd Raleigh, NC 27612, USA - NorthwestThere are three lanes on Duraleigh Rd just SW of the intersection at Glenwood Ave. but you can't tell because the lane lines have completely worn off of the roadway surface.
109–111 S Person St Raleigh 27601, United States - Blount CorridorCars parked in the travel lane of person street. Seems to happen every weekend.
1125 Capital Boulevard Raleigh, North Carolina - MordecaiThe access road from Fairview Ave to the Capital Blvd exit to Wade Ave has TWO groups of major pot holes. And that is actually after one solitary but very deep pot hole closer to Bickett Blvd (it currently has a traffic cone in it - only halfway visible!). The whole access road really needs to be repaved.
1-99 Mayo St Raleigh, NC, 27603, USA - HillsboroughThis person double parks and there car sticks out in the street blocking the sight distance for neighbors backing out.
Wake Forest Rd And Courtland Dr Raleigh, North Carolina - Blount CorridorLarge over grown tree limbs and bushes have created limited visibility at the intersection making it impossible to see the street entrance when traveling south on Wake Forest Rd.
Due to road construction on Courtland Dr. vehicles are traveling the opposite direction on a portion of Courtland Dr.to avoid the detour even though it's clearly marked one way creating a head on collision scenario for vehicles legally turning onto Courtland Dr.
1201 Wake Forest Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Blount CorridorAt the corner of Poplar and Wake Forest Road, when attempting to turn on to Wake Forest Road from Poplar, there is ;limited visibility of south bound traffic due to shrubs on property at 1201 Wake Forest Road. This issue has been reported and eventually fixed in the past but shrubs are once again obscuring the view of oncoming traffic without pulling into the lanes of oncoming southbound Wake Forest Rd. traffic
709 Devereaux Raleigh - Glenwood-BrooklynThe crepe Myrtle trees in the tree box have not been trimmed at the base in quite some time. The sprouts stick 2-3 feet into the roadway as well as the sidewalk, causing difficulties getting through a narrow street, the sidewalk and parking.
214 Ashe Avenue Raleigh North Carolina - HillsboroughIt has been 47 days since I reported that the Ashe Avenue sidewalk over the railroad was almost obstructed by overgrown bushes. You have closed this issue twice without ever getting any action taken. The sidewalk is about 90% blocked by the overgrowth. It is difficult to cross this busy bridge without having to walk on the roadway.
Intersection Of Delta Lake And Commercial Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
There is a semi truck parked in a no parking zone. There are "no truck parking" signs every 30-50ft.
I called this in to police non-emergency twice last night due to the ongoing noise from either the truck idling or running its refrigeration.
Upon calling the second time, dispatch state that the officer "attempted to call the trucking company". I requested another officer come out, as to try to wake the driver, or find another resolution.
This morning, the truck is still there, after rumbling all night(and still rumbling as we speak). Moreover, I drove up to the truck this morning, and not only was it still there, right in front of the no parking sign, but there was not so much as a citation on the windshield. What is going to stop this driver from violating again and again, causing all-night noise? No ticket? Even when in clear violation and officers went out there?
The truck is a red semi, one that I recognized from last year, as this truck did this regularly before the signs went up. Thank you to the City of Raleigh for answering the call and putting them in place. Despite the current issue, there has been a significant drop in truck parking since they were installed.
The license plate on the front of the truck reads:
Would someone from traffic and parking enforcement please leave a citation on the windshield of the truck? If there are no fines or repercussions, then there is essentially no deterrent from repeat violations.
Thank you kindly for your time and any help you can provide on this matter.
1-7 Mayo Street Raleigh, North Carolina - HillsboroughIt seems there needs to be one way sign markers for the parking lots off Mayo Street to indicate to people that they must go right out of the lots for 1001 Hillsborough and Grosvenor Gardens. The people pulling out of those lots regularly go left (wrong-way) to get to Hillsbrough St.
1700 Patton Raleigh, North Carolina - Five PointsLarge boat permanently parked on corner of Patton and New Roads; traffic obstruction, unsightly; been there for months; "for rent" sign on property for months. home may be leased; Boat left/parked by owner.
6305 Belle Crest Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District A
This saga started 10/28. We discovered upon our return from a trip that extensive cable install/repair was underway involving ATT and Spectrum. Apparently a new install of Spectrum services had interrupted ATT cable service.
USIC arrived eventual an re-mapped/labeled the routings. When we left for a short weekend trip on Saturday, the ATT cable had been repaired and reburied. There was no change in the Spectrum cable install.
Upon our return this evening, we were advised by our neighbor that work had started sometime late Sunday morning. At the point that we began documenting the extreme safety hazard we has multiple deep trenches and one hole within the utility easement. These obstacles in addition to the large assumed Spectrum cable were not properly marked. By that I mean there was a warning on only the street side of the work site. The approaches to the trenches, hole, and cable were not provided with any warning to the home owner or residence of the property. No one was identified as "owner of the work in progress". The only indication of ownership of the work in progress was a damaged trailer licensed plate. All of the previously existing road debris had need "blown" onto the properly of the home owner.
Documentation of the pre-existing and current existing status of the "work site" can be provided in JPG media format.
