People run the yield sign all of the time. It is an extremely unsafe onramp. I think it is because with the vegetation you cannot see the oncoming traffic. There were flashing yield signs that got added but they did not help. I think they may be too far back. Something needs to happen because I am sick of seeing people run others off the road right here because they aren't paying enough attention.
This bridge surface was neglected when the section north of it was rebuilt last year. It really needs to be resurfaced with the material that the other bridges have on them now. VERY rough ride on a motorcycle.
This railroad crossing is a stain on the face of roadwork. It is so bad that people slow to a crawl to get across it. Since our useless government decided in their infinite wisdom to curse us with a train switching station right next to one of the only ways to get to I-80 on the west side, not getting through this railroad crossing as quickly as possible sometimes means a 15-20 minute wait or taking your chances with everyone else flipping a u-turn and bailing out of the line. Why on this green earth after so many years can they not make this crossing at least nice and smooth so when there is not some idiot train starting from a dead stop with 5 Billion cars behind it, you can at least get through it as quickly as possible?
