  • 137 Yonge St Toronto, ON M5C 1W4, Canada - Toronto

This morning a large platform truck spilled either diesel or oil on the road at Lombard and Victoria. The driver placed absorbent material where the bulk of the liquid was, however they never sweeped it off and it is still there 8 hrs later. With the next rain event, the entire spilled material + the absorbent will end up on the storm sewer.

There are two SUNKEN MANHOLE COVERS on Lower Jarvis just south of Front St (west side). They were reported in 2017 and the City put white lines around them and told me they would be fixed. Nothing happened. They were reported again in 2018 and again they have white lines around them. I hope they really WILL be fixed in 2018 - the road repair season is ending soon!
